Re: Why the rise? Home page: there's a grey box half way down the right hand side which updates various pieces of information every few seconds - it will come up there. Still showing 140k.In January it was showing 110k. So, seems growth has stepped up a notch - justifying the slightly racy rating here.

Re: Why the rise? This is a great riposte to the recent curious iii article. I thought I knew the abcam website. Which page or section shows the number of shipments?

Re: High dividend replacement I am a holder, and holding for the time being. There are a lot of t's to be crossed and i's to be dotted before we have the final picture of this, but having been with Resolution from the start, and made a fair bit buying and selling it, I have an enormous amount of faith in Cowdrey as a deal maker. I am not sure whether there is much downside for FLG holders from here either, if it falls through - are we worse off ? If it goes through - well it was trading in the 3.20s earlier this month; hard to see it at least not holding the 15% gain it currently has on that. My view is that Cowdrey will want at least £4 / share on the deal, as a fair value of FLG.Anyway, the above is just my view, what you do is up to your wider strategy, I guess. As an alternative divi provider, my main rec at the moment would be GSK (which I hold), paying just under 5.5%, a likely additional div next year, and prospect for growth from current levels too. It is an obvious pick, but obvious for a reason.GLAOofy.

IP Group ...... ....is a FTSE 100/ 350 company ? ; why is it investing in AGM ? ....SAGE

Missed this [link] certain how I missed this in October but doesn't seem to have affected either share price or discussion very much. But - good news always welcome.

Too ..... something .... From what i have read in the Graphene arena, it seems Graphene product and application developers are trying to be too clever ...I mean , Graphene is clever enough stuff in itself .... but to make money , and a return on investment, the applications need to be simple and marketable, and profitable .... ( conversely, geeky and smart, and sophisticated applics may be intellectually rewarding, but they will not make much money .... unless its an incredible new innovation itself )How about then ..... Graphene Condoms ????Graphene mosquito nets ???Water filtering and desalination ???? ( ie with Modern Water ?? )SAGE

Re: AGM & update Hi Tejo - no need to apologise, your comments as and when are always enjoyed for the opinion! There was talk at the AGM of there being short term issues with regard to a major customer. It was suggested by the Board that the Rolls Royce issues were specifically down to RR and not the market generally, indeed they have an order backlog of 5700 engines not incl the Delta order of last week. When the takeover of RMDG was announced it crossed my mind that the two operations in the Derby locality would be amalgamated at some point. I also notice there is no mention of any changes to the China operations. The low oil price and its implications were also discussed at the AGM with the expectation of delayed orders by the oil/gas industry. The fact they say the relocation of Maloney is already in hand implies to me that this was in hand as part of the main reorganisation, perhaps even the outsourcing of manufacture may be part of the overall plan at the time of acquisition.I feel the Board is taking measures to be prudent and safeguard cashflow in the short term should the market uncertainties last longer than envisaged. Paul Scott who is usually very caustic when "proft warnings" are announced is quite neutral:[link] thoughts are that things have been overdone, I will maintain my holdings and like others first thing this morning may well increase my holding.Just a few thoughts!!

to many derampers... as many people say but I would say we have got more rampers here then derampers. And quiet often whoever post some realistic opinion or obsrvation, which is more causius based on facts and experiance - that person stright away is named as deramper (of course by rampers). There is always lack of constructive opinions. I sold my yesturday at 17.58 and I am sure I will get chance to re-buy tomorrow around 12p. However I belive charts and I will see tomorrow.GLA
