Court Case Anyone following the court case? I noticed more activity last Friday, my guess would be Fitbug adding further evidence for the Summary Judgement application followed by Fitbit adding their opposing argument. If their opposition fails the Judge will have to rule on the case well before the trial date. Damages will follow a positive result the level of which, I presume, will be relevant to the size of Fitbit's business (which is fairly sizeable) and the perceived damage to Fitbug's market share. With a tiny mcap of £12m it might be cheaper to buy Fitbug out rather than pay them off?Could get interesting here very soon. Declaring my interest..... I'm now in.RoB

They do not cover my part of the country at all, so I have no experience of them as a functioning business. I have boought in here on the fundamentals and the reports of others. Broker targets have now been falling, and are set at around 220 to 230. Those figures would still put me at a loss!! At under 200 or thereabouts this seems to me to be cheap though. I intend staying in here for the longer term for the dividend.Buying into companies you have experinence of is a very sound practice. I have done this a number of times, and often question family and friends about their experiences of companies as part of my research. If it is of interest I was chatting to an American friend a couple of weeks back, and he was talking about how large numbers of firms over there are only just outsourcing some of their functions. In particular he noted the recent rush to put payroll out. He reckons Paychex and Paylocity could be very good investments for the medium term. A NASDAQ fall is due in the new year, so it may be worth looking at these and picking up some in 2015. The former has a potentially good yield, though the latter has yet to pay out.Be careful and good luck.B

Re: Gutted Me too! Have had this share since Sept 2008 and was looking forward to a continuing relationship - yes I know, you should never fall in love with a share but this one was fully justified. As you said though Jake - we shouldn't be greedy and it's good that the offer seems to be all cash too.
