Re: Results Excellent Final Results today......-----Franchised motor retailer Cambria Automobiles posts underlying pre-tax profits of £5.4m for the year to the end of August - up 32% on last time.Revenues were up 14% at £450.1m and pre-tax profits rose by 33% to £5.3m.New vehicle sales were up 16.7% compared with the market's 10.6% rise.Chief executive Mark Lavery said: "The new financial year has started strongly with the Group's performance in the first two months being both ahead of our business plan and significantly ahead of the year under review. I am pleased with the progress that we are making across our established businesses; I am excited by the potential of the newly acquired Jaguar Land Rover business in Barnet; and I am confident that Cambria can maintain this momentum and deliver further improved performances across all it departments in the current financial year."-----Sold half of my holdings at 53.75p earlier this year, been watching trying to judge whether to get back in.May need to act soon, as based on these results, 2015 could also be a 'bumper' year like 2013.

Mixed trading, but certainly cheap imo A mixed trading statement, which seems to have been anticipated by the markets given the recent share price performance.HVN now go for similar operating profits to last year, which equates to around 8.8p EPS, so it would seem the current 77p has discounted everything.The 3p-3.5p dividend should help too.Currency movements should benefit H2, to at least mitigate the European downturn.Interesting that HVN has appointed specialist advisers to recommend on its strategic options for the European telecom outsourcing business. How much might they get for this I wonder?The cash should be increasing nicely given the success in reducing debtor days.The 8% increase in headcount since January should also soon result in additional revenues after the initial bedding in.I think perhaps HVN have prepared the markets for the worst - and the short-term bad weather in the USA may have contributed to that sentiment - such that the 31/1//15 results and overall outlook may be rosier, especially with possible European QE and an American economy which continues to prosper.

Good H1 results today H1 is always considerably the weaker half, so such a bullish outlook is good to see.Trading was "comfortably" in line with expectations, which sounds extremely positive.And there's a "strong" pipeline for H2, with "significant contract wins" since 30th September.Recurring revenues are up to 64% of gross profit too. Plus a cash pile to spend on acquisitions.Good stuff.
