Re: defensive play by Market makers I guess if you do not like the game then you shouldn't play. People are quick to suspect and blame the Mm's who are in this business to make money not a fair market. I suggest you limit your exposure to their antics by buying and selling when the Mm's are looking elsewhere. Mwa does have a liquidity problem as does most of the AIM.
Re: NEW ARTICLE: Fast-growing Topps Tiles up... ooking to break horizontal resistance at 122p 130p 136p and with heavy volume it should be able to navigate through these levels. Trades on a forward P/E to 2016 of 13.2. Benefited from the housing boom of the last few years.[link]

Re: Reason for sharp SP rise? Rhigos, to say that MGNS and KIE are in the same sector is a bit of an oversimplification. KIE are heavily biased towards services (eg Bin collection, local authity maintenance etc) whereas MGNS are more of a traditional construction company.Crazy as it may seem compared with a lot of other sectors a profit of 2% is actually reasonably good for the straight construction sector.I would be more concerned about KIE's ever increasing debt than by MGNS temporary blip in profits from legacy contracts that were tendered at the bottom of the market.KIE also have some legacy projects that were tendered at the bottom of the market so I wouldn't be surprised if they too have some skeletons in the closet!
Positive news from East Coast franchise To-day's award to Stagecoach/Virgin at least provides some momentum to the Hitachi contract for LPA and although nothing new, is at least positive.

Re: NOW THAT IS WHAT YOU CALL AN RNS!! Have done well here but out today as I feel the M/C cannot be justified and I'd hate to loose such a gain.

Re: Tomorrow It always takes me a bit of time to get my head round the figures of Property Shares (like the difference between Basic EPS & EPRA EPS) but on first glance these look very good, and the market certainly seems to like them.

Re: Yikes Well i'm in the area so i may as well try to get there just to see what they have to say on a more personal basis. I didn't sell as it had already moved by the time i saw the RNS but can't fault you for doing so. This is proving to be the worst investment i've ever made.
Re: Yikes I would not think they could add much more.AS you say disatrous RNS.Have sold the bulk of my holding this morning at a big loss.
I voted no 800,000 shares. It would interesting if everyone who is on here who voted no adds a comment here then add it up and contact the broker. Its poor to even expect a rise when there is no income
