Today's activity Lots of small buys today. Presumably it has been written up somewhere. Does anyone know where?
Re: IMS today km1CGL isn't listed in dollars. So you can rest assured on that aspect at least. It is LSE listed, and the dividend is stated in pence. As it's registered in Bermuda, there isn't any stamp duty payable on purchasing.I wondering what to do with FLG if the Aviva takeover proceeds, but I think I'll diversify a bit as I have enough in insurance.
Good news in the offing ? Contrary to my own expectations, the SP has crept up over the last few weeks, which I assume means some good news in the 3rd-quarter figures, which usually come out in the 2nd week of December - here's hoping - I could do with some Xmas cheer.
Telegraph- Questor "Stick with shares of Vp, Questor advised in the Sunday Telegraph. The rental company is spread across construction, oil and gas and equipment hire, helping first-half profit rise by 27%. It is benefiting from work upgrading the UK's railways, roads and utilities and it should do well from even a small recovery in public construction. Trading on 14 times annual earnings, the shares reflect much of the good news, prompting a hold rating from the tipster."SP on publication = 617p.
Luckywarren; hard to imagine that there is anything particularly wrong with a company that has 3 good potential products on its books. There is just no interest in little companies trying to market an as yet unproven cure; just have to cross your fingers and wait for the first results. Life is a gamble sometimes !
Mail-Midas "Buy shares of Workspace Group, Midas recommended in the Mail on Sunday. The company provides small firms in London with affordable, modern office space and has many properties in trendy districts like Shoreditch in East London. Chief Executive Jamie Hopkins raised £96m in November to fund more growth. Brokers expect profits to rise by almost a quarter this year. Hopkins is sticking to London for the moment but has his eye on other cities and overseas. The shares offer long-term rewards."From Mail on Sunday with SP at 688p.
Re: NEW ARTICLE: Engineers promised road spe... Confirmation today that the government plans a £15 billion road spending spree, got to be great news for HILS for next years results?
IN FOR A PENNY IN FOR A POUND!! Well 10million at .03p wont break the bank, but just may make me some serious money!!
Road building programme Today the government announced a £15 billion road improvement programme. I am surprised this has not been raised on the board today as this should offer the kind of projects that BB should be interested as long as they are able to get their sums right for the bidding process. Its a shame that the government has been so slow in moving such projects forward. This was really needed 3 years ago as part of a classic Keynsian boost to the economy. Better late than never, I suppose.CheersF
and so it begins......Seppuku....Best Doji
gg, with Lanstead's shares gone, and funding in place, it's a possibility.
Hi ST, whats it going to take to kick this off, I would have hoped all the hints given out by the company that all is good that people would have picked up on it, suppose we will have to wait for the flow tests
Re: AYM Zinc meanwhile has been on a run all year and remains strong. And here, John speaks with real authority. Zinc that is a cycle I do know, having been in this since 1969. Therell be shortages in 2015, 2016, 2017. The multinationals have cut back exploration budgets thats whats happened with Teck.
0.36 /0.34 bring on the news ..soon transform the sp very quickly ..after consolidation with 30mill in circ and even less free float we will see some big squeezes..Strong buy ..punt only at the minute ..after contract news a good investment.
Re: Why the rise? The number listed in the grey box is not the number of products shipped, it is the number of products available on the catalogue. More products listed is likely to result in more sales and this number going up is definitely a good thing. I just wanted to clarify for you and others. I'm not sure why the share price has gone up - perhaps the new CEO has done a good job selling the story to institutional investors.
