Re: Strong Hold There is a strike date- 20th November. At the prices then realised, FLG shares will be worth 394p and 0.74 of Aviva shares. Should Aviva shares rise then you will get more for your money- worth holding and accepting the swap, unless you need the cash now, in which case sell on the market, but you'll lose a little.
Update time Surprised there has been no news release in November of the completion of Arbuzovskoye 106 which was due end of October. Do we have black stuff in the hole or not? Also, we must be getting near the 2490 metre depth on Tungolskoye No. 5 by now and should expect an RNS confirming casing completion and takeover by Baker Hughes for the horizontal drilling any day soon. It 's unclear what challenges the trading sanctions, fall in rouble, onset of winter, will have on Petroneft. With the near 4.5% sp drop today, we are close to the bottom of the current trading range.
Topped up Topped up on these today. They've sold off really heavily following the big dividend payment, well done to those who anticipated the move. But in my view theye are now in oversold territory. Trading at something like 1.35 * NTA, and with a prospective yield of about 10%, there is more than enough compensation for the price pressures in the insurance market, I think. But DYOR.
Just a thought With Kelleher out and Niel settled NeW is effectively a cash she'll. Easy for a company looking for a cheap way to market to reverse into NEW, remaining management out and new business created. Worth a small punt on that basis as upside would be substantial.Good luck whatever your view.
Re: Fersters resigned This was clearly not planned,or it would have been announced with the Interims. When JG joined my view was that he was here to "mould" the company into a saleable asset in order to enable the Ferster Family to move on.JG stated that profits will have increased significantly & assuming that trend is expected to continue for the second half & beyond,I would have thought that he will be looking for a buyer & the 64k question then will be at what price? He,his supporters & The Fersters may be happy to exit with 15-20p & move on with their lives-which would be a pity as the expectation was to build CRU into a larger & profitable Group.A buyer may well close the manufacturing facility in Haydock, dispose of the assets & subcontract manufacturing,if that were to eliminate the losses & improve the bottom line.Perhaps the Irish company which bought Straight (STT) will be interested ?
NEW ARTICLE: Winkworth calls end to London property boom "Uncertainty surrounding May's General Election will stifle an already slowing housing market, LSE:WINK:Winkworth has warned, something flagged up at September's interims. Re: IN FOR A PENNY IN FOR A POUND!! a famous churchillian quote comes to mind 'put your head between your legs and kiss your r's goodbye
Re: The V2 model You've certainly got that right Casa. I've posted quite a few examples I've found where there have been long term deployments of V1s. Making them into semi-permanent sites makes a lot of sense. My concern is that they won't have enough V2s to cope with the demand next season. It would be helpful if the company could give us some idea of the rate of new builds.Regards, TP
now consolidated..30mill in issue which aint many..maybe someone should tell barx..as usual they are way behind the curve..Well with so few shares any news will hit harder.. big squeeze ,multiple auctions etc..

Re: Dead and Buried Time to learn from basic mistakes and move on. I will never believe the hype again Sold today at a £1400 loss...
Re: Any News? Taking a wait and see approach, probably until 2025. The ADVFN boards might have some info.
Any News? Does anybody have any details of the matched trading facility? I can't seem to find anything.RegardsYH
Re: Canaccord Genuity buy - 106p tgt I hope you managed OK B. The report today seems rather good, and teh Chairman's statemnt is very positive, but no real impact on teh price. Ms G will surely see her day come!(Have you looked at LAD as a shorter term home for your money: PER of 13, at near annual low, promised yield of about 6%?)
