Re: Happy Days well it let me put 100 units into my basket! So doesn't look like they are selling like hot cake
SP drop Hope we've hit the bottom with 570/580. Bit of a painful drop, should have seen it coming as it lagged the oil price drop by a few days last month. There's rumours of oil going below $60/barrel. Any credence to this story? If so this will dip below £5.00. D
Re: Sefton going bust today? Looking bad with today's news revealing Hawker's failings !
Re: Fersters resigned Why do you think that they want to sell their shares schwee?
Re: Life in the old dog yet? Nope, still going down...22%. So far today !!TP
89,000 shares bought today, 3000 sold...and guess what ...the share price hasn't moved a whisker....don't understand this one but hope that Henderson know what they are doing
Re: AYM What was / is the story on TECK. I think we should be told! Thanks
Re: short extension to offer timing.. seems they're assuming they'll need some additional support -they've extended by another couple of weeks: [link]

Re: GREAT COMPANY, WRONG PRICE I am selling my Heineken now. Off topic, but if you read my earlier posts, below, I was suggesting buying at 45, sold for 63.17
...Navo...good statement.. ...strong, robust statement from Sierra Leone. I am content to put my faith in a satisfactory deal with SiSG and appreciate the continuing supprt of the SL government. There are so many 'knockers' out there, desperate in their own creepy way to usher in the demise of AMI with 'I told you so....aren't I so clever'. I think Frank Timis is a bit more formidable than most imagine and those in power in SL are happy to remain positive and supportive of him.... ..... as a shareholder with a hefty chunk of shares.....he has my support too.
Re: From Citywire That corresponds with my view based on the following- Problems are mainly focussed on Heathrow seemingly due to bad pricing (albeit on a materially significant contract or set of contracts)- The stock is oversold based on redemptions at Schroders and the disposal of shares arising from death duties - the volumes over the last month or so have been way above normal...- I believe that there are some good contract wins in the aviation division- And in the distribution business I am hopeful that there is some value in the infrastructure for etailers...Clearly I hope nothing else comes out in the wash - that said a new CEO will use this as an opportunity to get hold of the business...All IMHO...
Re: short extension to offer timing.. John Byrne underwriting some of this is good enough for me. I've taken up all my rights, but on my original purchase this was peanuts, so I've also applied for a chunk of additional shares. Enough to make it a decent investment if it comes good (which I think would be unrealistic on the rights alone, following the dilution) and a loss that will be worth claiming against other gains if not!Let's hope the technology stays good and starts making money!Good luck all,
Have i Missed Something?
Re: Canaccord Genuity buy - 106p tgt The results were reasonable but in the current environment I don't see the P/E as attractive with those results. Sold for a loss. Hate doing that but I think they will fall enough for a buy back to make up the difference in this case. Annoyed.Good luck on your buy. Some of those might have been mine.
