Re: Sefton going bust today? Yes the problem is all the oil they never really had is worth less than they thought!
Director dealings I know there have been delays, but two days after their H1 results, its good to see three directors buying sharesavid Evans, Chairman, 173,500 at 15pJay Grewal, Sales & Marketing Director: 31,309 at 19.12pAndrew Shepard, CEO 30,974 at 17pThat's a total of over £37k. It's not ging to set the world alight, but what's interesting is the sales & marketing guy buying. The other two have 2.49% and 2.8% of the shares, but the sales & marketing guy is putting in his no doubt hard earnt cash into the business, and you'd hope he's aware of the future prospects.
Arguements for and against buying Arguements for and against buying at these levels..........?
hi all ... tight spread ????? and big volume but not moving price . is this beeing held up or being held back .. opinions would be nice ffishxx . good posts of late very enlightning...
Re: Was the huge resource upgrade as per the RNS, a positive ?Can't work out if it is or not as nothing happened to the share price.Copper down a little bit but some of that is down to the dollar strengthening. Gold not doing too badly though.Potential share buybacks, resource upgrades, what is it going to take to have some effect ??
Re: A shame... You are spot on with your comments. But this share has been well and truly hammered so maybe it does not deserve to drop much more. I could say the same for Petroneft. JKX graph islooking like it is worth a buy for recovery. But it may take 3 years to make a decent return.[link]
Lambrini Girl Just so people know Lambrini Girl is a serial de-ramper. Has appeared on all the sites of shares that I have had significant increases with saying they are about to crash. As ever people have to make their own decisions despite noise and self-interested mails.
why would you sell up a £6k investment for £133
Re: Closing in on highs Think all oil services bad, and understandable to some degree as capex will get slashed by the explorers at least.
its Aviva wots done it...
Re: short extension to offer timing.. Fair enough - should give Barclays and any other brokers who weren't on the ball enough to get themselves organised on the first (two) timescale(s) sufficient time to facilitate take up for any other stranded UK-based PIs who may be interested. We'll see...
Demerger Well that was something I did not foresee; but the market seems to like it. My holding is miniscule at best, splitting it in 2 makes the holdings even smaller.
Tipped by WH Ireland HAYT (and RNWH, which I also hold) just tipped in WH Ireland's monthly magazine:[link] summarise it better given 7.4p EPS this year and 8.1p EPS next year:"Trading on 11x 2015 earnings shares in Hayward trade at a discount to the peer group yet the outlook for growth is potentially stronger."
Todays presentation Dennis gave a presentation to retail investors today. Apart from being glad he did the farm out to India oil ( impossible today !) putting him in funds it also provides top Indian geophysicists and a program has been agreed . The central processing facility at 61 can cope with c15,000bopd and production from 61 is agreed with IO and increasing - but not to be seen until next year when there should also be news on 67- My hope is 2,500bo for current year but I think that this is optimistic The net P2 is 72mmbo with a potential uplift to above 300mmbo POST farmout which at present market price means 60c a barrel in the ground or 10 shares per barrel !!!!!!It really does look as if - at long last - production should get going
