99P Just read the news re: Regulator/takeover of 99P stores. Adds 260 stores to 600, 40%+ increase must result in min 25-30% increase in sales space and consequent profit/competitiveness.Obviously, the demand is there to be satisfied. A good investment for volatile times.
Much enthusiasm here. not to much logic!! As with cey, a good company ,producing with no debt. After 3 years no upturn. But at least finally paying divi. So think on ,most of you lot are day traders, and could seriously catch a cold or even worse.At the moment, the past charts, etc, mean nothing. Gold is a threat to Fiat currencies, and mainly the dollar. The FED is still in charge.

Seems to me. Most of the markets problems ,are traders using non existent assets. Or to put it simply borrowed money . Same as in the property crash 2007 2008. Day traders when the market as is it is. Mainly through themselves. and certainly not PIs, arse the system.

I guess if Zurich found some serious issues (very unlikely) then they would prefer to simply walk away than offer less.Equally a counter offer is possible, and in that case Zurich may also up their offer.Fingers crossed. It will be good to get some cash in hand to invest elsewhere ASAP.nk

Super Sewer....... ........where there's Muck, there's Brass...Good Win and holding up wellJackBalfour Beatty's joint venture with Morgan Sindall and BAM Nuttall has been awarded a £416m contract to construct part of London's new 'super sewer', the Thames Tideway Tunnel, for Bazalgette Tunnel.The Thames Tideway Tunnel will ensure the capital's sewerage system is fit to support its projected population for at least the next 100 years, and will tackle the issue of discharges of untreated sewage that currently enter the River Thames on a regular basis.Balfour Beatty's three-way equal joint venture, which is known as BMB and was appointed as preferred bidder for the scheme in February 2015, will create the six kilometre 'West' section of the 25km Thames Tideway Tunnel. BMB's 'West' section will run from Acton in West London to Wandsworth in South West London and will incorporate seven separate work sites along the route. Works will include design, construction, commissioning and maintenance for a two to five year period following construction completion.A digital construction approach utilising Building Information Modelling (BIM) will allow full testing and simulation of construction activity before works start on site for safe and efficient delivery.Project materials will be transported down the River Thames to ease road congestion, emissions and disruption throughout the duration of the project.
And by the by, I have a contact in boi, who is quite close to the top, who assures me the price is being kept down till the government sell, which is most likely in 12 months after year end results and after election
