Bid Speculation From w/e FT:Counterbid speculation helped squeeze Aveva, the design software maker, 4.9 per cent higher to £21.65. Engineers in Germany and the US have been rumoured to be running the numbers on a counter proposal to the group's £1.3bn takeover of Schneider Electric's UK software arm, agreed in July.Regards,Seadoc

Randgold to likely to stay in FTSE 100 No other FTSE 250 company has moved into automatic promotion. Rightmove is within a frction of a percent to overtake Randgold but no other company has made much progress. Barring a major fall on Tuesday, Randgold should retain its position.Between now and Christmas it needs to move back up to the 4300 range as it will only take 3 FTSE 250 companies to perform well and move up say 8-10% and Randgold would be relegated at the next review if they stay 3900-4000 or slip lower.

Re: Possible buy out at 40p? Hi allDoes anyone think a counter bid will be made for this Company? Have done some research on the net and can see that Panmure Gordon put the company’s enterprise value (EV) at £624 million which equates to 52p per share. Would Innovation be a good fit for Guidewire Software (GWRE:NYSE) to acquire ?

Topped up last week again I originaly bought back in July 2014 at 75p so up 130% on that purchace but have topped up regularily since thenDuring this weeks correction I took advantage and topped up here.I bought 2664 more shares at £1.59 totalling £4,250.I now hold 13,978 shares totalling £23,500 10.6% of my portfolio so may not buy any more. What I look for when buying a stock4 years of continual growth which can be a combination of historic and forecast growth – YesLow Forecast PER (<16) & PEG (<0.7) and good EPS Growth (>15%) – YesBased on a price of £1.72 on 28th Aug-152016 EPS Forecast 11.00p EPS Growth 100.7% PER 15.3 PEG 0.15 2017 EPS Forecast 15.40p EPS Growth 40.0% PER 10.9 PEG 0.27 This for me is the best thing about this stock. In July 2014 when I first bought the 2016 EPS Forecast was 8p and has increased during the year and is now 11p.That's a massive 37.5% increase. This is why the valuatations for 2015 & 2016 are still great.Below are based on 2015 ResultsPositive 1 Year Relative Strength - YesPositive 1 Month Relative Strength – YesROCE of 20% - Yes 28%Profit Margin of over 7.5% - Yes 10%Cashflow Per Share greater than EPS around 1.3 - NoLow Gearing – Yes -8%Director Share holding >10% - Yes 40%Quick ratio of > 1.0 but preferably >1.5 – Yes 1.36Dividend Yield (a nice to have) forecast – None forecastThe only thing I don't like is the 2015 cashflow per share is less than EPS. Before that it's been good so not too concerned but something to watch.Follow me on facebook[link] Twitter@GrowthStocksUK

Re: Latest Trade They used to keep trades on display on iii over the weekend, but it seems they have stopped it now. So I can't find what you refer to.Anyway, at a guess it is the UT (Uncrossing Trade), that takes place on stocks, everyday at 4.35pm. You can Google it to find out more complex detail, but simply as per the Daily Telegraph: Quote:"Uncrossing Trade. This is used for the single uncrossing trade, detailing the total executed volume and uncrossing price as a result of a SETS auction."[link] sometimes also takes place at the beginning of trading and can take place during the day.Hope this helps.

Re: down 28% OK, well thanks anyway but I have to say that someone saying "it's a good time to buy" based on nothing but gut feeling is as useful and informative of someone else saying "it's a good time to sell" based on their own gut instinct i.e. of no use at all.

AXM robjm66 29 Aug 2015

Re: Reconstruction Hi Cumisk,Ebullio brought out a rns on 16th of April declaring their reducing stake, generally though AXM has a history of shareholders declaring increasing or decreasing stakes weeks or even months after they happen. Actually think at one time Ebullio or someone gave them a nudge to clean things up a bit and we had a sudden slew of Rns’s.I think the sale has not happened in its entirety not even certain that it has happened at all. More likely it has not happened yet as if it had the share price would have spiked upward and Kefi would have not been so desperate for funds to give Ebullio such a large chunk of the company for pennies. The money was conditional on Ebullio selling a minority stake of RCR Quantum (main asset Sivas)News is hinted at but have Ebullio got back into AXM because of news there or the potential at Compass resources? Were probably lucky that the company only raised such a small amount as it means news is expected at some time and Ebullio has not been given an even larger stake.Poor show though to raise money at this level when news is expected sometime but i guess they were over a barrel. News cannot be that imminent as the fund raising would have been done on off the back of it, however Ebullio expect news and they have deeper pockets.

Reduced weighting After this week turmoil decided to reduce weighting in these on Friday which combined with dividends since 2011 banked a 72% profit. Sold half so still retain these with a current 3.5% yield but have been upping stake in BIST which I now prefer on market pullbacks which yields 4.7%. Although bought some with 5% dividend recently.GLTA

Re: More evidence of strong recovery in Sect... Hays is good news and evidence that sector is improving. I have a small interest in NBB which is in the same sector, has a good brand but has lost direction over the past few years. Worth a look IMO.
