ACP mog 04 Sep 2015

Unfortunately for this venture to succeed ,they have to raise a lot of capital, for a company with no income ,apart from shareholders. Businesses used to value good- will as an asset . There are lots of gold miners with experience ,and already "UP and running", looking for a 20m boost,so hardly surprising the funding is dragging on. The lenders of course will be looking to make sure their is a tangible assett. I am coming to the conclusion that the BOD of this company are after a free ride until they can offload to a much bigger company, but at little risk to themselves ,as now. They are still drawing their salaries ,though no one seems to be able to find out exactly how much, but it is, from available figure s, in the region of 1m per annum just for the directors, mmm not bad..Source , published fundamentals, probably un-audited.

AVM mog 04 Sep 2015

CRX Carefully Does It 04 Sep 2015

cycles If CRX stash any cash and wait I would not be surprised to see them get the chance of making a useful acquisition at the right sort of price if the cycle turns down.Cash will be king in multiple segments, markets and a niche small bolt-on wouldn't have very many potential suitors but might fit CRX nicely.

Re: 8.4m share purchase at close I have to say my initial thoughts were along the lines you mention Leicesterboy as otherwise we may have seen a distinct uptick in the SP.However I must say I rather like Anak's reasoning - just the sort luck Rurelec's shareholders are well used to after all.Back to reality, given the continuing media silence you would almost be excused for thinking we are not a Public Company. So lets hope something indeed is happening behind the scenes.Anyway keep holding until our noses bleed seems the only course (probably little choice as surely most of us have already lost the bulk of our investment).B

RNS OPS UPDATE My take (fwiw), We have a new shallow well discovery, which is either a new field, or as the company thinks, is an extension of the existing shallow field. If we have one extensive shallow field, P2 numbers good be big, making the shallows very valuable in their own right. Look forward to seeing a CPR reserves report on the shallows. A hundred nodding donkey`s at 100 bpd each, is 10,000 bpd, If the field is extensive, that is what we could be looking at.Well A5, in my opinion is a large commercial field, and a company maker, could be 500 million P2 reserves here, so very confident on this one, Wells A6 and A7 will simply prove up the extent of the find.It appears well 801 could be on the edge of another large oilfield, and the sweet spot may be 8km away where well 802 is to be drilled. So very good RNS imo, market will not like the fact that there is another problem with A5, that 801 at the moment looks inconclusive, and the shallow field is unlikely to be commercial at current low oil prices. However given that it will take a number of years for all these fields to move to export prices, the POO is then likely to be higher making production profitable. In about 9 months time, RXP should be able to confirm two large deep fields and one extensive shallow field on BNG licence, perfect for a multinational predator to snap up, and park the asset until the POO improves. All we have to do is guess the takeout price.IMHO DYOR NAI

Re: NEW ARTICLE: Chart breakout at healthy E... Good, solid reliable IT company which I'm glad I invested in back in Jan 2014. One of the very few AIM IT companies seemingly not run by sharks or wide boys. I hope it stays that way.

Re: Enticing income payer however with d... I'm puzzled by some of the SimplyWallStreet conclusions. My guess is that, rather than have an analyst look at the figures, they feed them into a computer program. That's why they come to some odd conclusions. That's my view, anyway.

Re: First look Yes, your numbers are similar to mine. I think 7p to 7.5p EPS is about right. Assets and liabilities are very similar, so not much in the way of tangible assets, and there is always a risk with stock valuations. It's a bit worrying that the half year numbers were down, and now the second half sounds worse. It all smells of a company being sold at the top.The good news is that directors have a lot of skin in the game.My feeling is that this deserves a low multiple for now. Maybe 8*EPS ie 56p to 60p. Then it's your judgement as to whether the home improvement market will strengthen. I'm still thinking, my smaller companies have been doing less well recently.
