Re: Trading statement Well, that's the problem. Depends which sort of investor you are. I am a LT investor here thinking more or less assured of a nice div for years to come. But that changed from one day to another. But at these prices I stay in. We'll see, I can wait some time.

Excellent results I'm quite surprised that Genus was down slightly today as the results were excellent. Double digit increase in operating profit, chunky rise in the (well covered) dividend. What's not to like? OK, Asia and Russia were a bit weak and Karim was slightly downbeat about next year but, all in all, I'm entirely happy with my stake in this excellent puppy, which is number 8 in my Top of the Pops at 3.7% of my shrunken wad, sandwiched between Diageo and Glaxo.LKH on the flybridge elite young sire

Re: Chairman's statement I also think this is a good longterm entry price. Have watched for a long time. Bought some for the first time at 165p. Taking the risk of further fall tomorrow on likely adverse press comment but after that I think it shd recover.
