Re: Fair Play I've had this with Barclays in the past, though admittedly not with Scotgold rights issues. But certainly with another, I've eventually had to phone them up and say, "Did you know there's a corporate action you should be attending to?" and they've replied "Oh, is there? We'll have to look into it" !!!!!!!!
Re: Chairman's statement Nicely set up to see who is right. I am an optimist on this one.
Today's Results These results had a bit too much 'build up'. Yes Alliance Pharma are progressing, but not by standards that doubles share prices.Nevertheless, in it's 10 year history, Alliance Pharma appears to be on a breakout, sales increasing and it's built a really solid portfolio. I'll be holding for a while to come.
What now 888 Oh Sir Jasper, 888 times LMAO !Oh Sir Jasper do not touch me, sings the coy maid in the first verse of the bawdy rugby ballad. Oh Sir Jasper, do not touch she sighs in the second verse; Oh Sir Jasper do is all she can manage by the fourth; and Oh by the last. 888, the betting business, seems to be singing from the same sheet.Days after losing rival Bwin.party to GVC, 888s chairman Brian Mattingley, says: 888 is not a target. GVCs purchase of Bwin follows the pairing of Ladbrokes with Coral, and Betfair with Paddy Power as the gambling industry consolidates and arms itself against rising taxes, costs and regulation. 888 is beginning to look lonely. In February, 888s owners spurned William Hills offer of 203p a share demanding £3. Shares in 888 are barely 165p now and the odds are that William Hill will come calling again. If so, the response from 888 this time is more likely to be a breathy Oh, Sir Jasper.[link]
Re: Ouch! You can all thank me for this rise, as this always happens to me a few days after I sell. It took me a few days to sell too, as there were no buyers at all. Hey ho! I took the decision to sell everything last week, as it looked to me and still does that the 7+ year bull run was over. If the indices go to new highs and prove this theory wrong, then I'll be looking to buy back in, but I'm probably in no hurry at the moment.
Re: Conference call at 11am this morning Ouch, suspended until the new year and dilution on re-admission.
superman - true, but before was without support of longterm player like MrScott in RNS today who is still stake building. anyway, each to their own.
jaja - I wouldnt risk anything at this stage - seen it all before - a tip - waita few wekks - sharpe rise - sharp fall. small punters lose every time
Fresh to Go Looks like somebody lent all their holdings out for shortingwww.freshtogo.co.za/
new CFO RNS good news - CFO appointed
superman, it has had its consolidation for the last week or so - see chart. with stake building continuing, will be hardly any drop, i can see 0.6p in the next few days.
tipped a few weeks ago - must drop soon on profit taking
crazy valuation
Re: AGM summary Thanks for the report GerihatricZvi was banging on about the ebola last year. I just don't see this waste business making money. If he wants to do a "Bill Gates" he should retire and let someone else run the businessI think its time for me to sell.I can't see the share price ever rising above current levels which is well below the price I paid.
Hi all... Anyone know what's going on with this share???
