Re: Motley Fool For some reason I can't pick up a link.On the ADVFN board Rick has postedFrom the Motley Fool - apparently today"One mining stock that does appear to be worth buying right now is Gemfields (LSE:GEM). It has been a star performer in 2015, with its share price rising by 34% since the turn of the year. This is at least partly because of the company returning to profitability in 2014 and being forecast to increase its earnings by 37% in the current year, followed by further growth of 144% next year. This rate of growth is likely to continue to catalyse investor sentiment - especially since much of the mining sector is undergoing a period of financial decline at the present time. Furthermore, Gemfields continues to offer a relatively wide margin of safety despite its upbeat growth forecasts, with it trading on a price to earnings growth (PEG) ratio of just 0.1. This indicates that further share price gains are very much on the cards."I have posted the followingThanks Rick for posting that. Very good write up. The results were announced on Monday 22nd September last year. Lets hope the results for this year will be posted next Monday. The Interim Results, Market Update and all the auction results indicate bumper results.

Q3 Results??? I’m keeping ATC on watchlist for a possible entry after Q3 resultsI’m not sure Q3 production results will be great as they’ve been stripping the overburden out of the new cut in the Mammoth seam. This new cut’s coal will boost Q4 but probably not Q3.I’d also like some clarity on the reason for the placing. Although small, this seems like a smack in the mouth for LTHs when ATC still has $4m available from the SEDA agreement and are stockpiling coal like mad. A profit of $4.4m in H1 2015 brought an increase of just $220k in cash but a $2.7m boost in stock. The lift in H1 profits came largely from reducing production costs by 30%. This should also benefit future quarters as will the new Mammoth cut. So if they destock in the wintry Q4, cash holding should rocket so long as they don’t spend it all.I’m hoping sub .12p after Q3, maybe wrongly, but timing/decision depends on having a look at the chartAnyone any thoughts on Q3 production, sales, cash levels?

Re: Topped up last week again Wow its taking off nowThat's £5k up in 2 weeks.PER for 2016 is now 18.4 with a PEG of 0.18.PER for 2017 is still low at 13.1 with a PEG of 0.33I can see soon a period where it may come under profit taking. 2017 PER is still very low with an equally low PEG so will move up again. However if the half year results say it will exceed market expectations then it could move a lot higher very quickly

Re: Consolidation Does anyone actually believe a single word printed in the Mail? Paddy Power is the most innovative company in the sector. There is absolutely no way it would bid for the worst betting company on the market (compare the movement in share price for both companies over the last five years).

Re: Good News - i think!! As the MD says"These transactions deliver exceptional value for investors."He seems very excited about the deal which as well as adding 3p to asset value clearly will uprate what rental they can get for their own development nearby.LXB know what they are doing and in my view with a potential uplift in asset value by this time next year to appx 140p ( +65%) with no downside this could be one of the best investments today in this volatile market. I have now reinvested in the company after selling ex div a few weeks ago. It's a raging buy for me at this price or lower.

Re: SG Marketplace This could be the perfect storm for SGI. A slowing economy in the Far East, a disastrous website and a debt of £11.7million on its balance sheet. Judging from the feedback, there is still a long way to go to rectify the issues raised. This would mean more resources would be needed allocated. Not withstanding the drain on cash, there is a real risk the Stanley Gibbons brand could be damaged, as the website is now stanleygibbons.com. Back in June when they cut the dividend to 5p, it should have raised the alarm. I sense the management have not been upfront with shareholders.
