FSJ ejected from FTSE250 FSJ have now been dropped out of the FTSE250 following this month's FTSE rejig after the poor results:[link] Canaccord have dropped their price target to 1050p:[link] latest broker forecasts from Singer and Canaccord are for around 66p EPS this year and 66p-69p EPS next year.I'd say a price of around 900p-1000p would be fair value at present given the above.

[link] at this pe it is a strong buy and hold for another 2-3 yrs.This news has more info in it than immediately obvious imho and a sign of things to come. Benefiting from deflation, helping cause it and a 'run to' if inflation starts to take off.Very good.

Market was not expecting those results and did not seem to like what it saw. There are some pretty large figures slushing about in non-recurring costs, which have a habit of not being as non-recurring as one might hope.

Re: Alkane T/O I assume the deal between EDR and Alkane has long been a completed deal so no change to licence position for Egdon.We shall have to wait to see what Balfour do with their 40 million Egdon shares (about 18.1%). They may decide to place these at, say, 9p. However, the £4m investment in Egdon not material to the whole deal so Balfour may decide to hold the Egdon shares.

Alkane T/O Balfour Beatty have made a cash bid of 36p for Alkane's shares.I would assume the current agreement will be honoured whereby EDR has the righteous to deep prospects on Alk's ground.Expect a proportionate rise here today.TP

Interims Not quite what I expected, and not much improvement expected by the year end. I missed the chance to sell first thing, so I'm holding.Unless they're guilty of talking up the prospects, not unknown, it's probably fairly rated with the prospects of pulsar to add a bit of flavour.
