Re: Sad to see it go Likewise, Ive been a holder and a strong believer in this company for a long time; I was quite happy to hold on even after energy companies went out of favour, because all it seemed capable of doing was growing. God I wanted to grow old with this company, but like a slattern woman she waltes of with the first pretender who waves a big wad of cash at her! Or has she? I Note on iii that the last trade went through at 40p; is there a fight in the offing? I hope so, this company's honour is worth fighting for, and I do not see Balfour Beatty as a worthy suitor.Regards,
broomfielder What do you think. MC about £6.5m to buy in but I'm not convinced that this value can be justified based on half year figures. Any thoughts?
Re: Emed please take note! Good idea. That would also free us up from the extra regulations apparently preventing the publication of any drilling results.
Prediction on 19 March 2013, I predicted that it would not be too long before Paddy Power shares reached 100 per share. Well that benchmark was reached today, but by the day's end had fallen back slightly to 99 per share. Onwards and upwards to 150 per share within the next five years.
results will be good expecting 320 close tomorrow.tiger

RE "KIngbob", technicals, fundamentals, there are no figures, this company is not trading, let alone producing, What he means is, based on estimates, acp s estimates, un-audited .
Out My stop-loss - set after the profits warning! - triggered today at 59.1. Just 6 weeks after buying at 114.6 ( Perhaps they are now a bargain, but capital protection has now become the priority. If and when management do demonstrate that they are in control and can be trusted, that will be the time to look at the investment case again.Stop-losses are a controversial measure and there is a danger of being shaken out by price volatility rather than by changes in fundamentals. OTOH, it helps take emotion out of the selling decision - once the level is set at whatever one chooses, the broker takes execution of the sale out of ones hands. Triggering a stop-loss is, by definition, a disappointing event but, I hope, better than hanging on in forlorn hope. Been there, done that, lost loads.MM
Upwards Looks like this is finally going in the right direction, but would have expected a sharper, steeper movement.Any thoughts?

Re: Sad to see it go Have held this one for quite a while and have even made some money dipping in and out. I suppose I will now have to start looking around for other well run small sound companies with excellent growth potential.40 p would be nice, but somehow think that 36 is what we will get. Here's hoping that some of the larger shareholders manage to get an up lift in the offer price, but given that many will have taken hits on largers companies they too will be glad of some cash.
