Here's an interesting take on the guy whose action prompted Hillary to trash the biotech sector: hwww.zerohedge.com/news/2015-09-22/following-public-fury-jim-cramer-trained-ceo-who-raised-price-drug-5000-agrees-lower "Many have speculated that the real goal of Shkreli's actions was to profit by shorting the biotech sector ahead of the selling which his action would have unleashed."

Re: Takeover offer Excuse my ignorance on the matter. Are you saying that 90% of shareholders need to approve the offer to get it through?I cannot see this happening as there are plenty of holders who purchsed at 40p plus which sure make up well over 10% of the company.Am I being thick? Where is the downside of purchasing shares at 35.75p just to sit on them and vote against the offer?Lots of shareholders see this as an ambush which sticks in the throat.

Results out results out this morning. Quite a downbeat presentation. The figures are quite good but hidden in the report - Sales up 11% and profit up significantly £508,000 (was £301,000) with basic eps 1,29p(was .69p) and adjust eps 1.5p (0.9p)But with the share price at 22p (21-23 bid offer spread) it's on a hefty P/E around 18 - quite high for a tinpot carpet basher. The pension deficit is a worry. Costs a lot and further deterioriation could grow into a big problem for such a small company. But on the positive side cashflow was excellent - £1.928.000 operating cashflow and despite the increase in working capital, capex, pension payment, dividend and share repurchase the company ended the year with an unchanged cash pile of £1,833,000.The marketcap is around 9.5M so adjusting the for the cashpile the business is worth about 7.7M which reduces the P/E to around 13.5 (quick rough calculation) which looks a lot better value.Dividend is raised by 50% to 0.9p which gives some insight into the current state of trading and expectations for the current year.Despite the downbeat presentation of the results (no headlines) the management speak is quite positive - 'clear and growing signs of improvement in trading conditions in the UK' and 'despite the ongoing strength of sterling the company continues to grow sales in international markets' which indicates that sales are still growing. At first I was not too positive on these results - but having looked a little under the covers I will be adding on any further weakness in the share price,

Takeover offer Anyone rejecting the offer in the hope that they don't get the 90% they need, I really do think there should be more than 36p on the table...

Re: Calculation help Citychap2011 ---------- -----"I have a small punt on NMG / Noricum Gold at a relatively low average. I am campaigning against..." CitychapSo those are two c-r ap py pitfalls by now, right? Or are there many more...? Probably from your quite large FTSE holdings(totally in dire straits by now)?So sorry to hear, Citychap!I saw Noricum mentioned on lse-uk the other day, and when popping by I was astonished to see one dozen desperate posts, Citychap. The "London city star" which turned out to be a Manchester City real estate man.Gt to be joking!!

Inventory As I understand it the company has a vast amount of value in its inventory from the acquisitions that almost make this a perfectly safe long term investment. I haven't been following due to limited funds bit is anyone able to provide any better insight than me? Shouldn't be hard!
