Re: 42 - 44p ...right now it stabilized a little, but the retracement could now sink down to 36p.Careful folkies!
Re: Densitron Take Over Look at the date of the transaction that triggered the notification MARCH 2008 !Strange to say the leastBtB
Re: Directors buying in Maybe on this occasion the directors are calling it right...anybodys guess in these markets. They clearly aren't in for throwing money away...they seem to be a canny lot.Bottom draw...unless you`re super quick like Bully boy..More news next month I guess..Last nights trading might just be the directors sending out a signal to the markets that all is not totally arry just now...
Re: Board contradiction 40p - Hence why I am a triffle confused.
Re: WOW new low! bt - it seems absurd, but thats just looking at the long term chart, although It seems a very outside, intraday dip, possibility to me. Sentiment seems to have taken a very nasty turn for poor old PDL, but its very hard to apply much sense to the markets view right now, it just seems driven by lack of hope. ATB
Re: Stalling technical analysis ...and the long term support lines still keep holding. Now while everything seems like boring sideways since a few days, one should make sure to adjust the AT buys in case of a sudden rebound driven by news or whatever!1) Urgent bullish alert comes when the 10p barrier is touched (see mid price).2) Buy confirmaton IF 11.90p is climbed, signaling another decent rise to around 23p.Lovely stable sideways trend with first "step" formation:[link]
NEW ARTICLE: Finsbury Food: Out of the frying pan… "Full-year results indicate Finsbury Food is out of the frying pan, and in an altogether better place. The big worry with acquisitions is they destroy value. Managers buy companies for inflated prices and they fail to produce the expected ..."[link]
Where are the results?? Due today but where are they? If they are being posted late they must be horrendous. On that basis and the niggling feeling that this is another scam like NBU and CAMK, I have sold out at a large loss; just salvaged what I could.

Fresnillo EPS.. Fresnillo EPS From over 100 to 14p and going down. Their PE is still 40 - I remember the bottom of the last cyvle shares like this had P/E of 6-10 and yields on the upward cycle of 10-12%. This means a price of about 150 for Fresnillo.Just be prepared for BRWM SP of 70-80p over the next 2 years. I'm sticking with what I have got for the time being. Hope I'm wrong. IP
Shock And Fear Is Coming Two men - the same conclusion."Shock And Fear Is Coming What Every Person Must Know Ahead Of This Collapse" - Egon von Greyerz[link] Stock Market Crash Ahead" - Alasdair Macleod[link] have a lot of time for these two men, however, last year von Greyerz predicted a huge rise in gold and silver prices, and he was wrong.
Re: Lock in expiry I'm not suggesting they would want to sell their 80% holding at that level of discount. However, we've seen extreme downward pressure on the share price with low volume sells. They could offload a relatively small % of the stock and cause the price to collapse further; If they were to do that then they could equally make an offer to take the company private for next to nothing. There are no majority shareholders (other than them) to contra any such offer. As close to the business as they are, they also have complete control as to who is awarded contract work from JQW i.e. they have an alternative means with which to extract income from the company. I'm not saying any of that is likely - but it's not inconceivable. We've seen some original investors sell earlier this year prior to their lock in expiring - which on paper seemed like a very unwise move.
Are we all still alive? No body topped themselves over this dog? Clueless
Re: Densitron Take Over Am I being suspicious or is it a bit dodgy that a guy named Claesson who may or may not be related to Johann Claesson, friend of Peter Gyllenhammar, buys a 5% stake a couple of days before there is an agreed takeover bid?Good result though IMO. I know Hillhead has made a few bob out of these and I did too.Onwards and upwards!
Re: Densitron Take Over Well that was unexpected but the cash will come in useful!I agree with you that a few more pence would have been nice.I assume that Blackheath was going nowhere or do you think its potential value has been taken into account in the deal agreed ?Good luck
