Market currently up 143 pts.. .as you say, its a rocky and rolly place..I`m guessing the directors knew about that `seller`, so held off the release to coincide with it, and send a market signal that things were holding up.The 1m purchase by directors was fairly good signal......they see prospects and value in the outlook..As I say, that lot aren't` known for throwing away there cash..There is a big trade event coming up shortly...so lets see how that goes.

I am new to this board but have been in UKOG Solo and AEX for over a year and watch here and learn from some of the more experienced posters. The one thing I have learnt is do your own research and be patient it’s going to happen and you don’t want to out of it when it takes off. I do remember some months ago DL saying that he was meeting with the Government. Then nothing more heard? The Government since getting into power without the Liberals holding them back are making things easier for the oil and gas industries. Does anyone think like I do that we might just get the EA approval whilst the upcoming Conservative conference is on? A great distracter for the Government. Just a thought.

Hi Weblogic,I don't know the exact ruling of when the market has to release knowledge known to it, but something did smell a bit fishy.The director buys @ 90p sometime on the 23th and the sp finishes 98p ish. Then yesterday they opened it up 7p down @ 91p ish, OK as you noted some one did throw a few out, but then for the whole of yesterday the price got cained into the close. So my question is why was the RNS not released at the close of play on the 23rd or at the latest yesterday morning @ 70 am?Not sure I beleive that someone in the market didn't know about the director's RNS..I am not usually one to complain about this game, but I think if I were the director I'd be a bit sore right now and as for long termers when the price moves like this, it must be difficult to keep your composure.Good luck all.

Re: WOW new low! ....117p, bang on 106p, wait for £1, absurd 60p......A few have bravely stuck out their neck lately but basically we're all guessing in irrational times. A clear turning signal will come and I'm inclined to go with an intra day shock drop as you suggest just to clear out & set up the reversal from there. Still not sure about t 60p though but hey-Ho..TT

RNS : more institutional buying Chelverton Growth Trust have bought another 300,000 shares and now have 1.5m shares, or 4.32%:[link] noteworthy imo that this £5.2m m/cap company now has Downing and Chelverton both increasing their holdings and now owning almost 15% between them.
