Explanation Not studied the accounts at length here, and not a share holder, but can anyone shed light on the changes in pre-tax profit relative to the earnings per share figures? In 2011 the pre-tax was £30M and the EPS was 61pyet at the last count in Jan 2015 the pretax had risen to £38M and yet the EPS was only 28p.Looks like the issued shares have more than doubled -- was this due to rights issues etc? Also the dividend is down at 2% compared to over 6% in 2011The earnings growth has almost completely stalled here and now gone backwards in the September reports.Games

Great opportunity ..... Clearly an embarrassing saga with the acquisition, but they've dealt with it. Look at the guidance, which is only down from 5-7m to 4-6m. I would now expect them to work their backsides off to get the core business to out-perform and, provided that they are fully on top of the impairment, with that much overlap in the guidance the final results could be very little different from what one might originally have anticipated !If that makes sense, then to be able to buy at around 13-14p is just a no-brainer. There's not a lot of liquidity, which seems to indicate that the major players believe in the value. Clearly the stock was going to be punished, but it appears overdone and I rate this as possibly the best buy opportunity that we'll ever see for VMT. It would hardly surprise me to see some director buys at some point. GLA. B.

Re: Production? Alanadale I think right now is not the time to be showing too much to the market. I believe we are seeing a token effort as far as promotion to private investors is concerned. We have had one investor event there is another on Tuesday and one in November. The bulk of the drive is in the city to institutions and HNW individuals. I believe they are seeking investors who are knowledgeable and well heeled. Of course there is virtually no liquidity so they have to tread carefully. We certainly have seen some larger trades recently so some of that could well be coming from that direction.

Re: Marginal Field Delivery Website Well it's a pretty site,,, doesn't tell you much of anything other than what is already out there,,nice to see that RMRI has offices in Manchester, Aberdeen & St John's (NF), very convenient considering Enegi doesn't though their pathway has been focused in these places...Anyway, websites, consortium grouping, paperwork is cheap, Enegi investors have heard a lifetime of words and not much more.... they need to stop prattling around with stuff like websites and actually demonstrate some PHYSICAL, boots on the ground PROGRESS...Me thinks that will be many, many moons away though......P2G

Re: Production? Hi Derek,, we need to hear more from the company itself about production. They also have had the results of the drilling for at least 3 months but seem unable to communicate this to the market and the shareholders- which is pretty dull which ever way you dress it up

Funding It would appear that someone has let the cat out of the bag !From Strathfillan CC Minutes 14th Sept 2015 [link] Read the last two lines below4. Matters ArisingGoldpanning - See Secretarys reportStreet lighting - See Secretarys reportWHW link - Charlie has emailed Transport Scotland, stating that the path is of a lesser standard than the planners required for the Crianlarich woodland. No response has yet been received. Charlie will continue to progress this.Action CharlieDRT - See Secretary's reportBroadband – See item 6.6 in the chair’s report. Tyndrum have been experiencing unusually slow internet at times in recent months, which Gavin has been investigating. BT have at last found a suspected software fault has been found in Edinburgh, which will be fixed very soon, and it is hoped will fix the slowness. Robert contacted Digital Scotland regarding the roll out of Fibre Optic. The scheduled dates for Strathfillan are currently Summer 2016, but this may slip. It is not believed that alternative methods of broadband provision (e.g. satellite) is cost effective for this community, although properties a long way from the village exchanges may ultimately be offered an alternative in order to meet Government minimal speed commitments. It was suggested that it might be useful to have a few volunteers in each community to monitor speeds on a regular basis, and report problems, eg. speed degrading.Contact details for Community Councillors - these have been published in the notice boardStrimming - thank you to Robert and Alan for strimming around CrianlarichGoldmine - 2 offers of funding have been received, and negotiations are continuing. There is likely to be a public information meeting in Tyndrum, possibly during October.

Interesting that the EU Parliament are asking for an update from the commission. Follow this link for the questions tabled on 3 Sept. [link] I think the commission have around 3 weeks to reply. The door is closing on cadmium Qd's and QD vision and Nanosys are aware of the trend. See what China does. Should be an update on their RoHS 2. Period for comment ended in May. As for QTMM their public releases are getting more like the metro in tone. Development agreements take years. Nano were entering into these 7-8 years ago. Not sure Nitto are even active in TV displays... Anyway, we'll find out the state of play with Nano in a few weeks.

Re: Production? They are producing copper in concentrate now; ramp up is well advanced and the plant is running 24/7. Concentrate is now stockpiling onsite and commercial distribution and sale will commence very soon. Trial smelting and refining has already been completed. The market will hear when production is normalized at 5 mtpa throughput. Target January but they will achieve that several months earlier.
