Total over reaction from the Market and I fail to understand how the rns with the first half 2015 results could have wiped off 20% of mcap! I am pleased to see that we have not lost any of our assets and that all our operations are in progress.

TND CASTLEFORD TIGER 29 Sep 2015

Results As per normal we talk the job down. This year we have no exc items so we throw in 315k of which 230 k and possibly it all will come back in the second half.PBT was 659 k v 99k last year............now that looks a great deal better.Clearly that's before underlying which added to last year and deducts from this year.EPS at 7.6p came based on the 355 profit but my calculation is EPS of 14.5p.Clearly the company should make 30p eps this year maybe as high as 40p a share. The shares look seriously undervalued. As for the DIRECTORS well getting to speak to them is impossible.Think its time I got more involved.Tiger

Re Spain. Its not in Spains interest to delay the permit as they are trying to grow investment in their economy. Therefore they would be better served granting permission as previously, then we can crack on towards the Field of Dreams. GLA

VLE gretel 29 Sep 2015

VLE is completely off the radar! We have here: - new share price highs - an £11.7m cash pile against a £17m m/cap - NAV higher than the share price with almost nothing included for the value of the subsidiaries - brighter than ever prospects - and profitability - for the three core investees - and a strong start for the new and fourth investee (Impetus Automotive)Yet AFAICS not a single share was traded yesterday or today ))Investors are evidently happy to lose their money in resource companies, or blue sky situations, or recovery stocks with 50/50 chances of success, or....whatever.I'm torn between wanting more recognition/activity for VLE, or being happy with being so far under the radar since it allows for top ups as and when. But it would be preferable methinks to see the share price up at say 600p+....Incidentally, 305020, good to see another poster here. My own instinct re Impetus is that VW will need more work, not less, from the likes of Impetus given that they will need to maximise falling sales and improve customer relations - which is exactly what Impetus do.

No doom and gloom here. Net Profit of 650K$ per quarter at Chepica without repair..Just a matter of time before repairs are in place and conditional acquisition add considerable returns.

RNS Interims and update All looks good to me. I still expect the oilfield A5 has found to be the company maker. We should receive updates on the flow tests all the way up to Christmas and into January. Looks like the shallows are one big field. My hunch is that 801 is on the flank of a large field and 802 will hit the sweet spot 8km away. Money in the bank to pay for 802 and A6 with hopefully some to spare.RXP still content to produce from the shallows at $10 pb, test production from the deeps cannot be avoided and the test oil can also be sold for $10 pb. Who knows? the poo may increase in 2016?The BNG licence ownership structure is being tidied up, clearly to be ready in 2017/18 for either a farmin or more likely a takeover of ROXI. Takeover is favourite as the co venture could have simply farmed out on their own? All we need to estimate is the take out price in 2017/18.IMHO DYOR NAI

Re: Production? Eddie I disagree I think now is a bad time to release information. If you want to contact the company yourself feel free to do so.

Re: sector problem? Rhigos,"IMO VED is undervalued."Well, possibly, m8. Personally I wouldn't even THINK of investing in a company that had Cynthia and Albanese anywhere near the top of the tree. Them two jokers did more than enough damage at Anglo American and Rio Tinto respectively for me ever to put a red cent in a company that employed either of 'em ... let alone both of 'em fercryingoutloud.LKH on the flybridge

Re: sector problem? sporty investor, "...mood in the whole sector?" YESI am surprised that VED is not up more this morning. India announced a 0.5% cut in interest rates a 0.25% cut was forecast.IMO VED is undervalued. Yield of 9.4%, P/E 0.3, ROCE growth 256%.

LEAF thirty fifty twenty 29 Sep 2015

Re: at 38p NAV up to 60p+ hi tbcan understand that view re TF deal. I thought maybe share price collapse was due to equity dilution to fund deal / extra debt deal implies. time will tell.the good news from today was I have a stake in INVENERGY (via the 2.3%),which at LEAF market price values INVENERGY at $2.6bn,and per operating agreement will accrue at 21% per annum (10p a year per LEAF)(the level but not the concept disputed by INVENERGY)(my assumptions are they negotiate half way so 5p a year)Summary - I have share of INVENERGY at low valuation that can be sold/bgt from late December onwards which is growth at 12% p.a. (5p / 40p market price). In these markets anything can happen, there is obviously a seller out there, but I had added this morning,L.term wind is growth market in US so actually makes sense that INVENERGY deal with LEAF at the moment. This may be a cheap price for the l.term value of 2.3% but likely to be significantly above current. All IMHO, DYOR + BoLLEAF is in my ntop5 hldgs
