ALM casabanker 06 Oct 2015

Re: SP ooky,Maybe Mr Woodford is right about ALM. I keep a watch on it but can only see a jam tomorrow stock. It is a young Company with a £750m market cap but negative EPS so it's hard to see how to value it. I've not looked at its balance sheet so don't know if it has plenty of cash and the cash burn. Will it need a placing? It needs more of a positive track record to interest me currently.Casa.

All Hail President John Sisay Interesting that our CEO might be the next President of Sierra Leone. He has now formed his own political party called JBS Movement (yes, as in John Bonor Sisay). Not sure I need to see his movements though.Presumably he would have to step down as CEO if it came to that though. Bit more here:[link]

trading well Going up nicely but profit taking may happen soon. For me I am holding tight. 2016 PER is 20 which is high but PEG is 0.2 so I am ok with the PER. 2017 valuation is still cheap PER of 14. For me I am looking somewhere between £3.50 and £4. That is my 2 year guess based only on the figures I have nothing else.

Re: 1p soon? "this company has 24p in cash"Correct that to:"this company SAYS it has 24p in cash"A company that has 24p in cash doesn't sit at 4p and keep going down. This is a total scam and will be delisted in the next 6 months in my opinion.

Re: So, whats the deal ? I'm with iWeb and had the usual options to buy the full amount, buy partial, sell enough to buy without using cash, or sell now...

APR shakyhands 06 Oct 2015

Re: RNS Possibly, but APR doesn't have the time to do that.It was already in breach of its banking covenants but was granted a one-month extension by its bank. That surely must put it in a very weak bargaining position when negotiating with any bidder, since the bidder could offer the value of its debt plus a token amount for the shares, and the bank could insist that such an offer be accepted - since that would be in the best interests of the bank. The only way out of that that I can think of would be an emergency placing or rights issue to raise the money needed to put APR back within its covenants - but that would hit the share price.

Re: Phillip Reid I don't care too much about the short term, other than it offering an attractive opportunity to top up. I can see these possibly falling further as some of the recent short term investors find their stop losses triggered. I have increased my long term holding by 2/3 over the last 10 days with largest purchase today. I am in for the long term but given Gideon Tahan's track record I won't be surprised if the business is sold in the next two or three years. (I don't call 2 or 3 years long term by the way.)

Mollacas I have been told that Moll hearing is mid Oct but decision may not be given until early to mid Nov.

OPG gallant02 06 Oct 2015

Re: Running a bit late Not quite right, they've said for some time that they expected to be operational by end September. This latest up-date is simply lacking in detail as in August they said one 150MW unit was already at 47% capacity and ramping up, the 2nd unit is some 4 months behind because they have been reliant on the state so I can accept modest delays outside OPG's control.August also said Q1 group output was 32% up compared to Q1 14 largely because of Gujarat 1 so by FYE capacity could be running on virtually doubled annualised run-rate vs 2014. The market is simply being slow to catch up, but it will do once hard numbers are announced.

Re: Time to buy no, dilution has been in price since last year...they can, in theory, but they could have taken it private ever since tw bought over 50% of shares.
