Pure Gamble downward pressure Fear driving the weak out and causing the downward pressure.I will not be selling at these prices at a loss.I will be topping up at below 4p which will not take too long by the looks of it.

NEW ARTICLE: Muted reaction to SABMiller mega-bid "What's going on? The world's largest brewer BRU:ABI:Anheuser-Busch InBev has gone public with a proposed £68 billion mega-bid for its nearest rival LSE:SAB:SABMiller, but the shares have hardly twitched. They're up just 1% and trading at £5.50, ..."[link]

Still needs to go higher The bid will not succeed on the basis of the latest complex bid but I think it is all part of the plan to come back with a higher, simpler knock out bid. £45 cash should do it with a share alternative with shares that are listed and tradable.

Re: Share buys Buy backs such as IPF does regularly have a trickle effect, but it's hardly noticeable even on a month-by-month timescale.Something else is behind the recent increase in SP. Perhaps confidence is returning that IPF will be able to deal with the Polish change of law?

Problems at ipostparcels My experiences suggest that the ipostparcels service appears to be technologically challenged at the moment as the text/email service they have introduced to let customers know when parcel pick-up occurs does not work. My pick up time (sent by text & email) was 8.30pm to 9pm and the driver arrived at 4.30pm and it was pure luck that I was nearby. The driver said this type of problem has been occurring "since the new scanners were introduced" and he advised me to ignore any information about pick-up times so this sounds like a systematic problem to me. Yesterday the ipostparcels site crashed in the afternoon just as I was booking a parcel collection and was down for over 3 hours. When the service resumed, my password no longer worked so I requested a new one which was not sent. The chat agent I contacted finally got a new password sent and said that they are having intermittent technical problems with the web site. Ipostparcels has been operating for years (I have been using it) and I would find it worrying as an investor that siginificant technical problems are occurring now.

Re: AGR are back QRB, I think the bidding war began a few days back with Oilco's potential offer. My expectation is that TPL's rebuttal this morning of Nostrum's approach will quickly lead to a firm offer from Oilco. Bearing in mind TPL's urgent need for cash the Olico offer could be received and recommended by the TPL board as early as tomorrow.Every chance of an early 8p exit here, possibly more.
