Re: How? TX2One of the casualties of the miners strike - 3.5 million textile workers...me incuded. No thought of contracting and niche playing. Apropos nothing did you know all the linen machinery was bought by italians who created a 25% wool 75% linen summer fashion fabric and made fortunes. Not many know that. Woolen socks were made in Leicester. Cashmere is such a dreadful fabric ( no tensile strength)nobody would thank you for cashmere socksmel

Barclays view From ADVFN:"Aerospace and defence engineer Meggitt rallied after Barclays reiterated its 'overweight' rating on the shares, saying the stock was "too cheap to ignore".Meggitt's shares plunged last week after warning that full-year profits will miss its £369m forecast, due to fewer contracts and increasing programme deferrals."Rarely do we find A&D companies which are simply too cheap, but post last week's warning Meggitt is firmly in that bracket," Barclays analysts Phil Buller and James Zaremba wrote in a note to investors on Tuesday."At 10x FY16 P/E, 9x EV/EBITA with a comfortably affordable dividend yielding circa 4.5%, the shares trade at a 25% discount to their own historical averages vs. the sector in spite of a 6% EPS CAGR and unmatched cash progression."The analysts added they were concerned about the near-term visibility and capital deployment discipline but it seemed more than in the price. They lowered Meggitt's price target to 420p from 610p."In short, we see this as a compelling entry point with limited further downside. 420p price target implies 19% upside."SP up 16p today to 373.nk

Potential energy shell REH also looks to have very good potential as an energy shell, with its large tax losses, and Utilico's near 30% holding - so the main creditor has a vested interest in keeping REH going in some form.Could the listing be utilised by CWE (Carnegie Wave Energy) to obtain a dual-listing in London?

Re: Reasons To 'Run' TGL-GOS Ray,There are good reasons why the company has been keeping a bit quiet, and that is in the best interests of shareholders. And I have no problems about Stanhill's knowledge of and respect for the law, as they are experts in this field with a fine track record and reputation. All will be revealed by the end of next month so there's not much longer to wait.Tomorrow actually is the first anniversary of TGL acquiring GOS Systems, and its been a year of impressive progress since that company-making acquisition, which is worth celebrating.

REH Hedgehog100 03 Nov 2015

Mynydd y Gwynt decision this month I've revisited REH recently as a potential planning permission trade, in view of MAC's ten-bagging between the start of May and latter August this year (from about a penny to over 10p), before falling back:26/08/2015 07:12 UKREG Marechale Capital PLC Northfield UK Solar Update "Further to the Company's announcement on 21 August, the Directors of Marechale Capital are pleased to announce that Kettering Borough Council has granted planning permission for Northfield UK Solar Limited's ("Northfield" 49.9MW solar scheme at Desborough. The Company has a 26% equity shareholding in Northfield and this solar scheme. ..."[link] long-awaited final planning permission decision on REH's 81-89.1MW Mynydd y Gwynt wind farm is due by the 20th of this month, and I believe that the likelihood of approval is very good: "What happens next 20/11/2015 - Deadline for Secretary of State to make decision The Planning Inspectorate issued a report of recommendation to the Secretary of State on 20 August 2015. The Secretary of State has 3 months in which to issue a decision. The decision letter and report of recommendation will be published on this page of the website"[link]
