Re: Ex-div I got the intrim ex divi date down as Nov 28th payable on the 5th Dec?Half yearly results due on the 12th Nov, if the formal offer don't get us to £44, then the results should 3D (browsing the Kuoni brochure)
Big purchase Seems someone has faith in the company and has purchased over £1 million worth today (>100,000,000 shares)
Re: Wow That's just what I thought when I bought a big load at 18p some time ago! Wish I had my time again. However, at this price we see a 20% increase today for a rise of 0.12p If it goes to 1.5p you double your money!
Re: RIT below 1500 so why have you sold.........do you think it will go below 1600....when
Strong share trade volumes today Nearly 1.3m traded, 6x the average, suspect new II has come on board? Prospect of dividends probably attracting income funds?
Surprised But Delighted Correction...I should have said Queensland and not S Australia....but I imagine the same issues would also apply in S Australia.
Re: Suspension Hi FDSuspension is as planned b/c of AIM rules.Company was intending to investigate a matched bargain basis.I'm surprised the price held up as investors scrambled for door not wanting to be holding shares in a private company. All IMHO, DYOR + BoL
Eadwig - Junior ISA I looked into JISAs for a friend for her new born daughter earlier this year. The biggest neg was no access to the cash until the child is 18. In their case they only had some cheques gifted for the birth plus plans to make a (relatively small) monthly contribution. I suggested a regular saver initially in a plan to build a pot that could be invested at a later date.
Surprised But Delighted After all the adverse publicity surrounding coal gasification in S Australia, I was fully expecting Altona to be a dead duck. I imagine the environmental issues must have been cleared up, otherwise the backers would surely have withdrawn by now. Staggered to see a 40% rise and hope this will hold up - there now seems to be a distinct possibility that this could become a viable investment...dare I say it, I could get my money back someday soon!
Norphlet formation 150 million year old oil sands are located above the Louann salt 15,000 feet down. Above the Norphlet sand is the carbonate "Smackover" formation downslope south toward the Gould of Mexico. Our acreage Polk and Tyler @14,200 feet is above these oil bearing structures. With money the wells should be red riled through the Louann salt to the true pre salt oil fields. The future is deeper down.
The inland ocean 82 million years ago was a shallow sea, with oil accumulations 14,200 feet below the surface in our acreage in Polk and Tyler county, but also 100 million years earlier as the giant ,vast inland ocean was forming, the Louann salt was being laid down, 25,000 feet down alleyway to 31,000 feet.
Oil saturated sands south of the Ouchita Mountains , the secret is the ocean, the inland ocean 82 million years ago emptied, completely
Re: information from official Kyorin report ... Caution : the report states 30 billion but this should probably be 3.0 billion Yen.
Contracts in Asia When I read this - "Appointment of Non-Executive Directors15 January 2014...Mr Patel, aged 45, is a commercial consultant who advises on and negotiates contracts for companies with innovative environmental technologies for use in Asia."[link] words caught my eye - "advises on and negotiates contracts ... Asia"I thofhd ‎ ′ç±»ßö©® °¬but it didn't. How sad.
Re: Dividend cut I accept that the dividends for the next financial year will be lower. However the interim and final divi for 2015 have been stated at 14.8p and 14.2p.The 14.8p divi has been confirmed and will be paid on Jan 6th.The 14.2 divi is stated, but not confirmed, and is due to be paid early July.Assuming the dividends are paid as stated that amounts to a 2015 divi of 29p.Which as I said represents a 5.09% divi if you bought today at 566p.But as you would only have to own these shares for 8 months to earn these divi's, it works out as an APR of 6.79%.
