Re: Tax residence This is only from memory, but I think that the UK government has been looking at measures to persuade insurers to come back to the UK without hurting them. Remember that a lot of their profit really is generated offshore......

Re: Who owns the subsidiaries? As Globo PLC is in administration shareholders no longer have any influence over the running of the company;they now become unsecured creditors ranking after all other creditors for payment(This would be any money remaining after all other creditors have been paid). However the specific cancellation of Globo shares is due to the requirements of AIM Rule 1.Globo's NOMAD has resigned, without a NOMAD Globo's shares cannot be listed/traded on AIM.If no new NOMAD is appointed within 30 days its listing is cancelled, however as Globo is in administration no new NOMAD can be appointed because he could not do the job as required under AIM rules.

Re: Job Done Thank you games for the genuine well done on the trade, I heed is still a lil bit fuzzy from last night.Ironically my physical shares are today worth..............wait for it................75k less!!! But sooner or later they will be worth the £44 that was offered, the "Market Forces" have a strange way of pricing stocks, even when a deal is as good as done.On the flip side, I will continue to add small amounts should they continue to drift lower, as, as I keep saying, this really is a no brainer, a 10% return within a year, that my high street bank does not yield me. Good luck .3D

MIRL zombynation 12 Nov 2015

From lse Finacial report lie It is FALSE that the information to publish the Financial Statements was not submitted. Minera IRL S.A. sent the documents on August 06, 2015 to the CFO, Brad Boland, who resigned his post on September 28, 2015, irrevocably and immediately, leaving the Company without the signature requested by the TSX for its publication. MIRL Board changed the facts. It informed on September 29 that there was a delay in the publication because the documents were not received, and on October 01 it informed on the CFO resignation, three days after the date it happened. Now Team Benavides says it has documentation to back up that statement. If so, there's no more damning indictment of Team Hodges possible than to say they've lied directly into the faces of the TSX and AIM by saying, time and time again, that they couldn't file their financials due to that "compromise of control" in the subsidiaries. According to that statement above it's pure BS and if that's true, Hodges and his friends are going to be in a LOT of trouble in Canada and London, not just in Peru.

Re: Bullish Div Another big volume sell day, but the SP has dithered around 60p, going to 57.5 earlier. I get the feeling that some insti is selling into any up tick as there appeared to be a big sell at the end of trading. Markets having a more volatie time today, so its going to be interesting to see how PDL reacts tomorrow - glad I only took a small punt to date, but clearly there are some considering its a buy at these levels. I wish my TA skills were a little sharper, but not doing too badly SO FAR -

ScS Please research ScS and their history. They seemed to have missed their recent period in administration and complete shareholder wipe out from the 'Our History' on pages 4 and 5 of their most recent accounts. I suggest the best place to start is here, your own curiosity should find the rest[link] Beddard's pain should be your gain. There is no cash - it doesn't belong to ScS. It's simply deposits for sofas fully offset in the current liabilities 'Trade and other payables.'

UBI Carefully Does It 12 Nov 2015

market opinion Price says it all really.Lets hope HSBC stay on side.Very disappointing. With drive to increase efficiencies in manufacturing I would have thought even hard times for the Germans would have meant they would spend on UBI kit to maintain margins. It looks like VW have paniced and the whole lot as turned to dust.Diversification is the order of the day.The market has voted with their shares.

Re: Excessive reaction to news ? Topped up today as well.Look at the fundamentals - improving cashflow, increased profits, stronger balance sheet, new contracts won.I suspect the sp will rise steadily over next few months prior to announcement of full results.

Re: AoW AoW has corroborated his comments re the danger of a concert party buy out. My opinion is that I understand thati t would require a 70% vote, and they hold c.35% and I know that there are sufficient long term holders who would render this unlikely. Many city investors hold the stock personally, and held the shares, like me, for resources and the take over. I do not think that they , or I will be fobbed off with 4p or even 20p. We carefully select a few speculative investments which for a small initial investment could turn into a game changer...say add a ski chalet or aeroplane to the toys ! For this reason natural resources are the way to go. As regards comments made at a share price of 40p or 70p, anyone who calls the top of a share is a liar if he calls it skill or foresight. They do not discover less gold, so the safe way is to await the take-over, to realise best value, or potential that due diligence would uncover. The share price can move 10% on 100000 shares being sold. AoW , myself and many have substantial holding, and could short the shares and then dump them on the market and realise something.. This board has some experience of those who short shares and then use boards to rubbish the shares...which is the moral equivalent of getting ones pals to view and bad mouth a house that you want to buy .The Uraguay agreement is bizarre indeed, and my view is that the danger is a massive dilution which would give the concert party their 70% or just render the long termers meaningless in objecting to their plans. This is the only reason I surmise behind this bizarre announcement of funding expansion in Uraguay. Where are the funds coming from to fund this otherwise ? We are at the mercy of the ethics of the BoD/concert party. Wishful thinking and ethics prompt the hope that a massive resource uplift will be announced and that area sold off, proceeds dispursed to shareholders, with the option of investing on the reshaped company which will diversify to Uraguay. Hmmm , hope springs that ethics win over.
