Macquarie rating - daft?! Macquarie have reiterated their underperform rating with a 15p price target. Seems fairly ridiculous to me, I struggle to see how they are arriving at that figure given we know thatroduction should be at the upper end of the estimated range for the year. That is the highest production since 1994.Gangama dry mine is expected to come online in late Q2 2016. That will increase production yet further.Gangama is very low risk - a one year payback period, an after-tax NPV(10%) of $118m and an after-tax IRR of over 50%, fully funded by existing debt facilities and operating cashflow. Construction is already well underway, with equipment being delivered to the site (according to the timeline in the analyst presentation). There's tje option to double the size of Gangama operations within roughly 12 months if market conditions favour the extra capacity.Rutile prices next year should be stable, with a slight increase expected in the second half of the year. The rutile price is expected to properly recover from 2017.All in production costs are set to fall yet further as a result. All I can think is that they think the rutile price is going to fall further but, even so, we are break even all the way down to about $600 at the moment. Few of our competitors can match that, so global supply will reduce to stabilise the price long before we reach that.Am I missing something?

Re: Any good news? The management has concentrated too much on new acquisitions and the new website, and so taken their eyes off the main business. They have, at least,,admitted this. What is really needed here, to restore some confidence, is the recruitment of a safe pair of hands in the boardroom. Someone with a track record who the institutional shareholders can relate to. Kate Swann, ex WH Smith, for example, though I think she is now with one of the big utility groups.Somewhere deep inside SGI there is a good business, but it counts for little in share price terms at present while the City licks its wounds. The "good news" therefore would be if we hear nothing more for another three or four months!

WH Ireland Not a group that I particularly trust, but the Telegraph article says:" WH Ireland have said it could add around £1m in pre-tax profits to its 2016 financial results."That's about 5% of Market Cap for, potentially, one very small part of their portfolio.Don't know how they calculated it but it would be interesting to know the breakdown between Milestone Payments and Royalties.Looks good whatever.Speculator

Re: fall in share price Hopefully the full year results will be a bit better - they may well have a bit of a boost from 007 and Star Wars cinema goers.Billfish - I believe our esteemed Chancellor changed his name to George when he was 13, so your reference to Gideon is a few decades out of date. Apologies if you are a childhood chum who refuses to accept his new name...

Featured in Shares magazine this week November 12th issue. 4.6% yield and 20 year record of growth. This pullback does indeed seem a good buying opportunity.

Re: Any good news? Yes, mate. I read some fairly decent news on 23 September when the company said it would achieve market forecasts for the year ending March 2016, sending the shares up 5.5% to 162.50p the same day. Just two weeks later, unfortunately, it issued a profit warning saying it would miss forecasts for the full year. It would appear, therefore, that a fortnight is a very long time in the life of this PLC as the shares have subsequently slumped to today's 95p.
