More positive Aussie BS 0.115p to sell The latest Bolnisi saga drags on with little progress and the share price continues to slide. Perhaps the next placing will be below 0.1p. We could be at 0.1p very soon. Well done Greg Kuenzel! Time to resign.

SHI, UPDATE........ SHI SIG PLCFrom III board.......SIG pins hopes on massive savingsHarriet Mann | Mon, 16th November 2015 - 14:23SIG pins hopes on massive savings Less than four weeks after a savage profits warning triggered a dramatic sell-off, SIG (SHI) has, at least temporarily, plugged the flow of equity leaving the specialist building materials company. Full-year profit guidance remains unchanged, but trading did improve in October, and cost cuts and fixing its supply chain could save tens of millions of pounds. After underlying pre-tax profit jumped to £98 million in 2014, SIG last month slashed expectations to more like £85-£90 million this year following a difficult third-quarter in France and the UK Repair, Maintenance and Improvement (RMI) sector. This warning wiped out a third of the group's market value in about a month, as the shares plummeted from 179p to a low last week of 117p.But like-for-like numbers were positive in both UK & Ireland and Mainland Europe in October, and while we shouldn't read too much into one month's data, it's certainly good news. And at a capital markets day, SIG chiefs will tell major shareholders and analysts how it will cut costs and grow earnings. The numbers bandied around ahead of the presentations are significant.Changes to the supply chain could save £20 million, and growing its air handling and offsite construction businesses over the next three years should make SIG a further £30 million. Together with £10 million of ongoing procurement savings, the company could grow profits by an extra £60 million by 2018. Incredibly, SIG believes a possible phase two of supply chain changes could save an additional £30 million. As most capital market days reveal little new information on a company, Panmure Gordon analyst Adrian Kearsey reckons it is "refreshing" SIG has announced a clear target for earnings growth, especially given its strong record of achieving targets. The group has been performing ahead of targets set two years ago in a three-year plan to drive £30 million of savings."The plans represent a material potential upside for investors," explains Kearsey. "Relative to our FY17 forecasts (we currently do not have published FY18 numbers) this represents a 46.4% uplift to PBT." He thinks SIG will make £85.3 million, or earnings per share of 10.5p this year.Despite basing the trading update on only one month's data, buyers have jumped on the news which has sent SIG shares 6% higher to 128p. They now trade on 10.6 times earnings estimates for 2016, but that seemingly modest rating is justified by both the business climate and execution risk. It will require an improving trend and evidence of massive savings before investor confidence is truly restored.

Cable & Wireless snapped up by Liberty [link] & Wireless Communications was snapped up by Liberty Global last night in a multi-billion-pound deal which could trigger an £11m windfall for its chief executive. The London-based telecoms group has agreed to the takeover from American rival Liberty, in a £3.6bn, 86.82p per share deal.CWC’s boss Phil Bentley is in line to make up to £11.4m from the acquisition. He bought 4.3m shares when he joined Cable and Wireless and reinvested them rather than take a dividend. This brings the total he owns outright to 5.3m.

Re: AGM Report Hi Tejo - Very sorry to learn of your wife's' diagnosis and I fully appreciate your comments. To try and answer your question I think there are aims/goals but perhaps more complex than I can answer I was going to pass the CEO's email address for you to ask the question directly. My thoughts are that as far as Aerospace is concerned they have a steady stream of business in pipe/tube manufacture for RR and turbine blade polishing but they are looking to move towards composite manufacture of such items as that is the trend in aerospace production in order to save weight - the big enemy! Fabricating items in composite as a main supplier initially to airbus and hopefully beyond is the aim along with manufacture of more complex items where they can gain IPR rights and therefore command greater margins. They are looking to an entry in the US in the future but last years problems delayed that ambition, I believe that is where the real market is.In terms of E&M they are looking to harness their niche capability ie Pressure vessels in MRI scanners and now the oil market this puts them in a commanding position as not many companies have their capability and more significantly, industry approvals. They are very conscious that they will not expand too quickly and getting into trouble because of it but I think the problem is also that it has taken time to find their direction because of the hotch potch of businesses that they started out with at birth as detailed in my previous post,. I appreciate I may not have answered your question but hope it goes a little way towards some form of explanation.

Re: GLIF and GLAF It's a way of sorting the wheat from the chaff. Unfortunately the chaff is a missed opportunity it is looking pretty dire and needs refinancing, whilst the wheat needs a lot of attention and more finance to grow.I could be total wrong, but the interim results look at a poor attempt at polishing up a lacklustre performance.

Re: Income Don't know what their end game plan is Fusion 98 as you say they are or seem to be pre - occupied with their single largest shareholder and whilst this is going on the market makers keep marking the sp down of course the company seems to want to raise money to carry on with Algeria but cannot do that realisticaly without their largest shareholders blessing..? so what are the alternatives..in these uncertain times, roll over and let someone else take over the reigns...wait and see what happens (most likely) can't see Worldview making a bid even at ths silly sp...they don't need to, do they? something will have to give sooner than later cannot see this going on forever. Hopefully someone else will make a bid and then the SP will go up to a more realistic value or the present BOD resigns....fingers crossed... market conditions aside.,this bunch have cost me thousands, EARTHLY
