Good quality business I particular like the 74% increase in online sales just reported as I think there is plenty more to come here. I also like the fact that ROCE has hovered either side of the 30 mark for the past 7 years as this shows the the company is generating value by reinvesting its profits in the business. I also like the fact that the founder has retained a huge stake at this stage of the business as that should ensure a disciplined strategy. Plenty of scope for international expansion as well.

Re: Aquisition LG -- I'm disappointed, I wanted you to set the price at a pound and then I'd look at it.Still, with the lardasses about to wind up interest rates, Ossy Osborne might soon follow and turn the switch he controls on the back of Mark Carney.Sooner or later, a £ won't be worth shxte.Games - a pounding it's definitely taking today - sorry that was crass!

Re: placing Courtier1, "small point of note though is that INL earnings are inflated this year "Yes. I also slightly misquoted last year's EPS which I should have adjusted for the new accounting standard. I meant to correct it but got distracted. The thrust of my post regarding INL was basically correct, however, though the market isn't particularly enthused, it seems. INL posted news today of another good land sale and other progress including a significant addition (for one plot) to their yearly rental income.TEF down heavily today. I'm unsure why, there was no news when I started this post and the sp was pretty solid early on, unlike Bovis who were down up to 12% at one point on what was basically a strong trading update when measured against most FTSE 350 companies. I don't think the TEF fall is anything to do with Bovis' update, presumably a lot more to do with the placing price of 360p. I have a limit order in place to add to my TEF holding should the price fall below the 360p mark.

Re: Comment on price fall On reflection my view is that punters are expecting too much of the company in the short term. Bovis build outside the London price bubble area of London, nevertheless should prices fall in London next year or in 2017 that may well affect Bovis house sales.

RRR scotchoverice 19 Nov 2015

During 2010 – 2 specific RNS’ were released regarding KMC, the acquisition of licences by a third party, and the payment of $10m Canadian dollars to RRR. These were issued on October 1st 2010 and December 10th. This positive news underpinned and contributed to a strong rise in RRRs share price through the latter months of 2010. No further RNS’s have, as far as I can see, been issued in relation to this transaction to the markets or shareholders. The next comment I have located re this transaction is located at the back of the 2011 Annual report and under “22 Significant agreements and transactions continued” which states “Kansai Mining Corporation Limited and Mid Migori Mining Company Limited, Kenya On 30 September 2010 an offer was made for the assets of Kansai by a third party, suggesting a value of the Company’s interest. at Ca$10,898,000. This offer was later rescinded. During 2011, the Directors have been exercising options and selling shares – for example – “ Red Rock Resources PLC ("Red Rock" or the "Company") has been notified that directors Andrew Bell and Manoli Yannaghas have on 27 and 28 June sold 800,000 and 375,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at prices of 6.0 pence and 5.9 pence per share respectively” The pertinent questions 1. When did the directors first suspect the KMC deal was not likely to happen? 2. When, on what date, was the KMC proposed deal rescinded? 3. Did the directors deal in RRR shares and particularly sell shares – whilst aware of the deal being unlikely to happen, or even more problematically, in full knowledge of the deal having been rescinded but without any such declaration have being made to shareholders and the market?

Comment on price fall From Sharecast websiteShares in Bovis Homes Group slumped almost 10% early on Thursday after the home builder revealed its mix of homes for 2015 will be more weighted to existing sites than previously expected.[link] don't understand how that fully explains the fall this morning, perhaps some expert could enlighten me. Perhaps Jim Slater has sold all his holding in the company.

Re: How?? The GDRs are not fungible with Dhaka. If they were about to become fungible, the price difference would start to narrow, but the anticipated selling from the UK would tend to depress the price in Dhaka - because the market price is a delicate balance which arbitrage selling would upset.[ I'm tempted here to reference the Bible and Joseph's dream about the seven lean and seven fat cows.! ] That's probably the reason why they haven't been made fungible.
