Half yearly figures Very good numbers from Latham this morning. Should make up to 55p in earnings for this year which has only a few months to run. Factoring in another 12-15% rise in earnings for next year, which is unambitious, and applying a sector rating implies a price well north of £8.
Wow Shorters having fun backed up by Motley Fool. wonder what they get out of it?MC SGH = £342M ( 0.44 pence per share) - QPP could buy it for ...? ...remember Edison predicting A$598 PBT over next 2 years ie £285M ( EPS A$ 0 .67 or £0.31p/shareSGH Historic PE Today 2.88Well Edison is radically wrong or its the biggest bargain I have seen in a long time ( well actually QPP not so long ago)Mel
Re: Hardman Where did you find that EMR commissioned the research themselves?MCB
RNS - net assets They seem to have been in a hurry to get this 'information' out I wasn't expecting it until Dec. On the face of it, I should be reassured but somehow I'm not.But until they start producing some return on their platform investments, then I guess the NAV is all we have to support the share price.
Re: Your dividend is in danger Geldman,"with competition in the industry hotting up, and technological advances resulting in an increasingly 'cash-less' world"If the world is becoming increasingly 'cash-less', why should competition hot up? Anyway, DLAR appear to be saying that cash, world-wide, isn't declining quite as quickly as one might think looking at it purely from a UK perspective.LKH on the flybridge
more good news some more good news from the Coy this morning :Wood Group (John)Plc (WG..L) Announced that it won a new contract worth approximately $90 million to deliver services to one of the world's leading blue-chip international oil companies (IOC) in Iraq. The company will provide project management for an onshore facility under the three year contract, which is effective immediatelymy thinking is that the oilers still have to maintain their rigs and wells so cannot understand why WG. are being consistently hammered.
WRES target price 3p...rerating

Re: Placing Zinc prices are forecast is rise quite rapidly especially at it seems that the rapid drop must have been driven faster and lower by short positions...Contract PriceCash Buyer 1555.00 Cash Seller & Settlement 1555.50 3-months Buyer 1568.00 3-months Seller 1569.00 Dec 1 Buyer 1595.00 Dec 1 Seller 1600.00 Dec 2 Buyer 1618.00 Dec 2 Seller 1623.00 Dec 3 Buyer 1637.00 Dec 3 Seller 1642.00 I'm tempted to top up below 3p, but I agree the risks are very high... in any event, we will get the chance to top up at the placement price - also likely to be around 3,5p plus/minus 0.5p I suspect given the precise drop in the share price by MMs.
Re: bought at 97p Hello ZP2 - welcome to IS. This isn't as dramatic a holding as Trakm8 but it has been a solid performer for years apart from a wobble about 12 months ago. However recent results were very strong and there has been a share price rise since then, but still not as large as one might expect. Change of management creates some risk - hopefully good appointments.Good luck
do not trust JB anymore .,GSA will be sign when we give 5% to TPDC for free,or we will never get GSA signed
