Re: Your dividend is in danger DLR lost the contract to make the polymer notes for the Bank of England, they only print them because their technology is second rate. It is rumoured that they only have one polymer customer globally. The main reason they are under threat, and the other paper producers as well, notably G&D in Germany, is that both the largest users of banknotes, China and notably India are gearing up to make their paper internally and to print their own notes. India produces 6 billion notes/year, China more. DLR is shut out of both, especially India after the issues over paper quality some years ago. This is a company in decline. Save your wife's money!!

Re: Rubbish charts on iii HFEL v SS... Yeah nice review 'BadNews' abt min cost etf and its long term effects. After looking at HFEL v SST for 2 weeks, i'm leaning to HFEL as i like the idea of investing in Asia Co's that focus on making a Divi - added to their discipline etc. I'm waiting another 2 weeks before i make my final decision Thanks for all the posts JD

I think the BOD need to make some announcement to reassure its shareholders that everything is okay as the company has lost more than 60% of its value in 4 weeks!! and i am guessing everyone is in the same position as me that they can not afford to sell at these prices unless they want to take a massive hit on their investment

3p minimum imho

Re: RNS - net assets The platforms are valued at the lower of cost and current value, so this aspect won't have changed. So if you add back the 2.5p of dividends between 30/06 and 30/09, there will be a net increase in NAV, which will be cashfloows from platforms, I would think.

Re: 28.57% Very good question. Perhaps the losses are less than expected and current trading profit is under control as a result of the operational review ordered in August. Result announcement is overdue so anyones guess but something good must be happening.

NEW ARTICLE: Finsbury Food AGM: Trust me, I'm a director "The baker’s board wants to have its cake and eat it.If the opportunity to meet the board of directors, learn more about a business, vote, and perhaps see its operations is not sufficient reason to attend a company’s Annual General ..."[link]

SPH Ambiorix1 26 Nov 2015

Re: announcement Positive reaction....The update heading says it all: ‘…creates a fast growth, high margin pure-play differentiated aesthetics company…’. Then one can assume with little doubt that SPH could be a nice fit for l’Oréal, Nestlé, Beiersdorf, Lauder and so on… Ambiorix.
