T/O Price From 1998 to 2014 this share has never been below 40p. But recent Pro's fixation with shorting & as a result, others fear of investment, caused the stock to fall to 5.5 pence. Prompting the takeover offer at a ridiculously low price. In years gone by stocks use to rise on the prospects of a takeover, now there shorted down to all time lows.

Re: On the other hand Nice one, TM In fairness, I doubt SGH is a scam - it isn't majority Chinese owned for a start and it's saying it DOESN'T have any money. It clearly doesn't qualify as a CAMK.I'll be interested to see what the next half year's numbers are like. One thing seems certain and that's that Grech won't be staying long if what the usual sorts are saying does come to pass. I'll keep an open mind - I have a modest holding at a reasonable average - calling the absolute bottom is difficult without missing out by setting limit orders too low. A lot of shorts have to close - from what I can see, over 50% of the shares have been traded in the past two sessions alone.

UK Mail boss Guy Buswell is to leave with immediate effect, as shares in the delivery company he led have lost more than 43pc of their value since February. I have just read this as i have got shares in UK Mail. The Director has gone due to the company losing 43% in 6months. MC has lost over 80% in the same period and is still in a job in face hes lost more than that in just 3 weeks

Re: Police Austerity & G4S "Any comments or guidance that might help me direct my limited research time"Eadwig, I sold this a long time back fortunately at a small profit on prices above where they are today. In terms of research, I stopped and sold when I realised it has operating margins down at the 3-4% level and a debt level of over 7 years it's average profit. To be honest, with these two stats I'd just walk away from it and put your money in a company with real IP strength, low debt and growth potential. Not saying G4S doesn't have growth potential, but it's not that clearly identifiable and one mess up like the tagging problem and back it all falls.Games -- Let's hope I never need their services after this review.

Re: Not good news.....PRG delisted on 16... It's frustrating not knowing what is going on and just having to speculate. But, I guess if you owned National Grid you're as much of a passenger as AIM - unless you own A LOT of shares!FWIW, I think PM has rattled a few cages and p***** off a few of the typical mining financiers by refusing to let them come in at this stage with a dilution for existing shareholders at the expense of the Johnny-come-latelys who want all the glory for providing a bit of finance to get operations going. I thought that is what the initial shareholders also did!We sit and wait. I remain optimistic that PRG will get the finance it needs to get operations going and then the operation becomes self financing once they start pulling diamonds out to the ground - albeit with a big caveat that prices are falling etc etc. We just need to find one big 'un and it will fund mining for months! All I want for an early Christmas is for PM to say we have all the funding we need for PRG to commence mining operations in Q1 2016 and then for that to start happening. They are mining in the right area, good licenses, good equipment, good management, distribution channels being developed ahead of time etc. Guitarsolo - keeping the faith

Bandy has a year then to get this turned round, or there will be changes. Looking at the voting figures for the AGM, it looks like warning shots have been firedAbstentions let the approvals in, but clearly they can be turned into NO votes, it was very close. Many will not have voted either, Too many abstentions for it to be anything other than a warning to BODTaking abstentions, against and discretion against the FORRemuneration Report was only voted in by c413K votesJason Bontempo kept his post by c790k votesThere it is, shareholders not happy. Im pretty sure next year will see a full canvassing of the BBs to get this lot voted down
