Re: When things start looking good I Share your frustration. Everything in the past 6 months about this share has been positive and the company is predicted to comment on a decent set of accounts in just a few weeks time (early Jan). Looking at your post, you seem to be anything from 91-99% down on most of your investments. I hope this poor run doesn't pass onto this share! I would be utterly shocked if something came out that we all unaware of apart from this '7% shareholder'. IE something material that the board and large shareholders were keeping secret. I would not expect this, though I have invested in Range Resources and Antrim in the past so nothing would truly surprise me! For what it's worth, I think the share will be rerated shortly after a curt response from the BOD to the request! Procedures have to be followed in the meantime. I get the impression this is an AIM administrative learning curve for the BOD. IE they were thrown by the request, but had to post an RNS.

Re: SP bombing! Anybody know why the sp is bombing? ---------- ---------- ---------- ------Yes, an article was put out saying that timber could not be exported from the Country and that licences would no longer be given. So the bucket shops tried to take advantage of the news.Fortunately, we have a very well run company and they have in the last 30 mins issued an RNS to say neither of these problems affect Obtala's timber operations or licences.3 Cheers for Obtala

Volume I am surprised that no one has commented on recent Volumes. There were a couple of large sells/buys last week and this morning someone traded over 2 million shares. Can anyone see if these are buys or sells?Could be that someone is either dumping or buying a large stake.

Re: PIs exiting Xg don't get me wrong - my point regarding Cisco / Comcast is that the former don't want the competition of a larger arris/pace combo whilst the latter do not want their choice of supplier reduced. I am not saying it WOULD happen, I am simply saying any hint of a white knight would instantly boost the sp of PACE. I dont think any of us wuld mind that, except the PIs that continue to bale out (O trades) in the 1000 to 5000 range whilst the AT trades are mopping up.

Brokers How is it that brokers such as Beaufort and SVSwho claim to research there recommendations do not spot it is a fraud. How can the ordinary Pi research it better then they ?Any views on above brokers.

Shares And how could he do that without cash ? And why ? He doesn't want to take over Rurelec ..he has enough on his plate to sort out Sterling Investments !He had no alternative proposals at the GM . It may be possible that others are building a stake in preparation for a takeover proposal.

Good Results Interesting that the acquisition of Neiman and the totes have not contributed to these figures. These should make a substantial difference to the final results. Definitely seems to be headed in the right direction.Could well be over 30p when the finals are announced around July.

Top up time World Class Asset deserves a top up, don't get manipulated by the big boys who are doing just that

When things start looking good then almost always something or someone comes and messes everything up. Nearly every AIM company I've ever invested in either gone t*ts up or is nearly there. Just my luck? It looks like AIM is a big business where crooks (a.k.a. managers) collect all the money they can carry, then make the company go bust and nobody ever gets charged for anything. Brilliant!I wouldn't be surprised at all if this scenario happens here as well...

Re: PIs exiting xg, Cisco / Comcast? Are these mega companies going to show their interests now?

CSG Hardboy 02 Dec 2015

Interims Figures are not good, but I am encouraged. It seems like all the mucky bits within the company have been cleared out, they have a clear focus & strategy where the markets are healthy and the future looks good; peripheral businesses are being offloaded, and a lot of uncertainty has been removed. Let's hope they get a good price for the ME business, then the picture becomes a lot clearer; and the indications are it will revert to a healthy growing business.

Re: PIs exiting Cisco or Comcast - I think the DoJ would open a New File on that possibility and it might not end so well. The additional time I cannot contemplate either!!!Let's stick with Arris now and watch what happens with the Shorters on both sides of the Atlantic.£5 by the close of trading today???Would be something and not impossible only 20% increase on the start SP and it has been done before.Greed is Good!!!

Re: Entry point? I have invested 3% of my portfolio into this fund this week at 198p. The dividends are certainly enticing, but a large slice of this fund is invested in Biliton so the dividend has the potential to be reduced. How much lower can commodities go?Next year as cost cutting and mine closures occur, it should result in leaner companies and higher share prices. I hope so anyway.
