Recent positive news... A rare Pink diamond find recently put some sparkle back into Petra...and more to come, it would appear, with the new projects nearing completion, and the prospect of higher grade gems being proffered...And the banks underlining confidence, with there waiving of covenant requirements, under lines confidence in that area, sending out a positive message to the markets. With any kind of decent run next year, this share should see some notable improvements. Most of the recent broker notes certainly echo this, with significantly higher price targets..We`ll see how things pan out....lots of other global issues rumbling along.

Re: fraud? "whatever I do it will be wrong..."Some things are more wrong than others. If you put money in now, and the co is found to be a fraud, you will certainly lose it. If, however, you hold back and the sp recovers because the co is found to be legit, you can always add more shares later. Okay, you will lose the first part of any bounce, but that, surely, is the lesser of two evils.Personally, having read TW on SP, I would not touch this share with a bargepole.

Re: dont.. I am amazed you dont have more questions? I can be more specific than any analyst about the business, nobody wants to know anything? It was a shame about Brad this week, a very good asset in my opinion. He has been caught in a storm for 2 years in my view. I am sure he has wanted out for over a year. I can see the stock bouncing around at these levels up and down on low volumes.

Re: Article Never mind a 52-week high detected by some US-based automated system: JPM has hit a 5 year high! It's been tracking up pretty relentlessly since July 2012, besides the small/mid-cap slump in 2014, and it made a big jump when the Tories were elected last May.Of possible interest from its charts (see Analysis>Technical Insight here, for those who aren't aware) is that its long-term KST crossed its signal line upwards on 30 Nov. This was a positive sign in October 2012, after which the SP rose strongly for 18 months. However I don't find this KST very useful for attempting to time purchases and sales: it's so slow to indicate, there can be long time lags between the crossovers. For example by the time it crossed downwards in August 2014, you'd have already made some significant losses. Similarly, if you waited until last week's positive crossover, you'd have missed all of the 2015 rally. A better broad indicator may be when the Longterm KST peaks or troughs: when it turns seems to be a good time to buy or sell.Anyway, I've got 13% of my portfolio in JPM. It's the best trust I own over one year, the third best over three years, after Oryx International and Baillie Gifford Japan, and third-equal best with HSL over five years, so it's a keeper.

Re: SGE, SAGE BROKER COMMENT...... SGE SAGE GROUP PLC (financial software)[link] Comment from Hargreaves Lansdown.....HL COMMENT (2 DECEMBER 2015)Sage has released full year results. Organic revenue grew by 6%, with recurring revenue up 9%, driven by strong growth in software subscriptions and the roll-out of new products such as Sage One. Organic operating profit increased by 8% to £380m, and the organic operating profit margin rose to 27.1%. Underlying basic earnings per share increased by 12.6% to 25.00p, enabling the full year dividend to be lifted by 8% to 13.10p per share. The outlook statement was positive but margin guidance was a little light of analysts' expectations; the shares fell by around 4% in early morning trading.Key highlightsRevenue in Europe grew organically by 5%, North America: +4%, International (Africa, Brazil, Australia, Middle East and Asia): +14%.Free cash flow increased by 29.2% to £296m.Contract renewal rate increased to 84% (FY14: 83%).OutlookTargeting at least £50m of run-rate annualised savings by the end of FY16, to be reinvested in growth initiatives.Expect to deliver organic revenue growth of at least 6% and organic operating margin of at least 27% in FY16.Our view:We like Sage; it generates prodigious cash flows and benefits from a large base of high quality, recurring revenues. The company is very shareholder-friendly - dividends have been maintained or grown every year for the last two decades; and the shares currently offer a prospective yield of 2.5% (variable and not guaranteed).A key part of Sage's strategy is to increase the proportion of recurring revenues, by encouraging its customers to sign up to a subscription-based model. The group appears to be making good progress in this regard. Recurring revenue increased by 9% in FY15 and now represents 68% of the group total, up from 66% in FY14.Technology disruption is a risk in this industry, but Sage isn't sitting on its laurels. New products such as Sage One appear to be gathering momentum. The group is seeking to 'leap-frog' first generation cloud competitors through integrated latest generation cloud-platform products and through scalable digital distribution channels. Meanwhile, that large bank of recurring revenues makes it very hard for competitors to make significant inroads.Following a strong run the shares trade at the top end of their historical valuation range, on a forward price to earnings ratio (P/E) of 20.6x. But few companies offer the prospect of such reliable growth. We feel in an uncertain economic environment, businesses with recurring revenues, robust balance sheets and strong cash flows are likely to remain in demand, although there are no guarantees. All yield figures are variable and not guaranteed.

Re: Major Shareholders Not sure whether to sell now at a paltry 0.5p a share of hang in there... but the residual value is just so low now.---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- -------Can you offset the loss against a capital gain on any other asset? That's all I can offer.Andrew Woollett will be hot property in the AIM once he walks away from this disaster. Whats he raised here? 150m something like that. Impressive really on reflection he pulled it off for no return. A skill in itself to keep people to keep putting hand in pocket.

Re: Boom Time!! Just be nice if the wells were as clean as they should be.Reminds me of my kids cleaning their bedrooms!Think the continued flow of poor news on the deep wells has rather blanketed the steady flow information on the shallow wells, to th opverall detriment of the SP.If only we didn't keep finding dense fluids shoved under the bed, rugs, wardrobes....
