Re: Follow the big players The current Arris sp of £32 exactly equals a Pace sp of £4.40 so it all depends on what people expect the Arris sp to be after the deal is done. The big players may envisage a new Arris sp of over $36 which equates to a Pace sp of around £4.80. For pi's the question is do we really want to deal with the hassle of trading on the US stock exchange for a 'possible' £0.40 gain? For small holdings I don't think it's worth the wait.

hello and hope ur as good put 5k in, up about 5pc since then - i hope it works out as well in the long run for me too! Seems to be a well run under hyped fund. i have a 20 year horizon and intend to hold long term and add divis along with further top ups.

Proposed placing and new divi policy You may want to check out the latest RNS just released (160)It looks like delayed dilution and a rather disconcerting change in divi policy. It probably makes good LT business sense, but I doubt it will go down well with income seekers.Personally I'm relieved to have sold up, but I'll continue to watch this company with a view to re entry when I can see the green shoots.

Rise Up 4% on a day when markets are tumbling. Highish volume.I'm not complaining, but I like to understand what drives exceptional moves like this. Any ideas?

ANP Hardboy 03 Dec 2015

Institutional Holding Downing LLP have just increased their stake. One of the things which is reassuring about ANP is its very high institutional holding - over 50% + 7.5% held by employees. This is very unusual for an AIM share. Having just got my fingers burnt on one fraudulent AIM company I was thinking of exiting all AIM stocks - but I think the shareholder profile gives me a lot of comfort here. I hold 5 AIM stocks - and 3 (Anpario, Bioventix & Tracsis) look legitimate businesses with trustworthy figures. I will certainly think long and hard before investing in an AIM stock again.

Rise Relatively big rise today when markets are negative. Any reason?

Re: Recent positive news... Andy..Your charts reflect some negative fundamentals, but it appears that these could be due for a change, if things go half right for Petra in the coming months.Hopefully these will go favourably and the price will start to return to higher levels. We`ll see....

Re: Watch list I am thinking in the region of 250p as an entry level. That may be too aggressive, but I am happy to have minimal exposure to financials unless I can buy them very cheaply. The next downturn will be much more painful tan the last IMO as none of the central banks have any ammunition left and China will not bail everyone out like last time.

PIC sporty investor 03 Dec 2015

Follow the big players A good number of funds/ banks holding millions of Pace shares and increasing their holdings (see last 3 days RNSs). Also, a single private investor is holding 15.5 million shares. If the Arris-pace merger were not to be a good enough deal, they would neither be retaining nor increasing stock-pile.

RDT Oxtrader 03 Dec 2015

"Wildnet was a small private software company in which Mr Quinn had previously invested. It has outstanding liabilities owed to third party and trade creditors of approximately £17,000." Did Mr Quinn sell his shares today, which of whom I suppose may of been the 395,757 sold 11:22am. If so, this was done *before* the announcement (not sure how allowed this is) in order to pay back the liabilities owed for Wildnet?

TEF Hydrogen Economy 03 Dec 2015

Re: 21 Million Pounds Surprisingly good results considering the negative comments about demand in London, clearly TEF strategy re affordable locations is paying off.TEF FY results have been weighted to H2 in last 2 years (FY at 2.48 and 2.67 x H1 for March 2014/2015). The Unitied House acquisition should increase earnings and the Government support for Mortgages on houses in London excluding the top end could have been written for TEF so should help. Offsetting that, tax moves on BTL may have some impact (not sure that was a big driver on TEF sales in London) and the share placing will dilute EPS. Even so if FY is between 2x and 2.7x H1 earnings that gives between 43 and 57p FY diluted EPS (March 16) or forward PE of 8.9 to 6.7 and a yield over 3.3%. Digital look has a 2016 FY EPS forecast of 37.8p which suggests to me that there will be some upgrades to follow once the analysts have found their calculators. Of course there are risks, interest rates, the high price of London properties, macro economic factors, terrorist threats, camel flu, currency shifts, political, economic social and technical (as the doomsters who make up the "Wail of Worry" will no doubt remind us) but TEF looks good value to me and I bought in today, my first TEF holding. Thanks to Eadwig for flagging the value of TEF on the BVS BB a couple of weeks back. H2
