Re: floods, and nuclear opportunities IMO there will be lots of additional work likely for RNWH on the repair of bridges and rail lines etc a la Dawlish. This year may have a nice early boost. There was a nice mention for RNWH in this week's Shares Magazine as regards the likely growth in its nuclear division.Extracts: "All but one of the UKs 16 nuclear facilities across nine sites are due to shut down by 2023. Together, those plants generated around one-fifth of the energy consumed in the UK in 2014.""Many of the other businesses with scale in nuclear operate at the decommissioning end of the life-cycle, though this too could remain a growth market as old stations are phased out.Babcock International (BAB), which already operates across 12 nuclear sites as well as the UKs nuclear submarine base, and engineering services group Renew (RNWH:AIM), which works at 15 sites, are key calls in this space."There are truly staggering opportunities and figures involved: - Western Europe has 150 plants to decommission by 2030 - the UK sites alone will cost £70 billion plus to decommission - the NDA's current year expenditure is £2.91 billion

I like the sound of this bit of the RNS: SGRF, a sovereign wealth fund of the Sultanate of Oman, has approved in principle an investment of US$100 million in the firm placing via one of its subsidiaries, subject to and conditional upon, inter alia, agreement of a subscription agreement, agreement of arrangements with the Group's project lenders on the Group's capital structure, procurement of commitments from other shareholders in respect of an additional minimum US$75 million capital, necessary Kenmare shareholder approvals, and finalisation of a prospectus.
Funding Secured & Drill is a Go RNS today - Skipper well funding now secured.Anticipated spud date late January or early February 2016.[link]
Re: Dividend Thanks for the calculations .
Re: SRP..Significantly HIGHER.......... I also thought it was a strong update, and am disappointed by the market reaction.
Re: Excellent trading update today Solid progress in core business with tempting information previously about 'game changers'.Nice rise to boot !Still looking forward to further developments.Luck all, TP
Share Price Any reason for the recent share price rises on low volumes?
Re: Trading Update and Disposal I've re-read this proposal a couple of times now, so lets correct me where I may be wrong - The buyer "NT Group's own CEO" Udo Nadolski to purchase the company for an initial cash down payment of £19,800.- If in the event NT does well, it will profit share with HVN of up to £6.5m. I suppose there is no 'timelimit' for this, just only until it reaches the £6.5 million 'cap'.- Provision for a loan with the condition that if the company folds, it receives the same amount back. Well.. Good luck to Udo !
Where will share price go now? Where will QIF share price go now?Whilst holders were unable to sell shares until tender offer was completed (whilst awaiting for allocation notification), the QIF share price has maintained virtual parity with its NAV. This despite having a 10%-15% discount to NAV since inception. Why?There has been virtual zero trading in QIF shares yet the share price has increased over the last 6 week period. During the same period QIF NAV has dropped like a stone. All very strange. As it stands iii are offering a QIF sell/buy of $1.24/$1.31 against its NAV of c.$1.31 - a buy price of parity with its NAV.Will QIF maintain this historic ultra high share price of NAV parity, after years of a 10%-15% discount to NAV? Or will the share price fall to a more reasonable level? Given the sharp falls in Qatar Stock Exchange this year, its hard to find a reason for why there has been such a major shift in share price to NAV over the last 6 weeks.Buyers beware at this share price. As always, all above is my own opinion. Important that you do your own research.
Orbitor, Nicely put " a major deceit by the ROI" sums this up very well
Share price in free fall again, investors becoming aware of how Foo shows two fingers to the shareholders while uploading his massively increased remunerations into his bank account.
Re: Director dealings I agree re AIM. I think that shareholders will become a lot more discriminating as the market turns down.My holding is about 4% of my portfolio, so similar.I am mystified by why more institutions don't buy into this one. I'm guessing it's because of the dud flotations plus Daniel Stewart's(near) demise. But the financials are really strong for this firm, and management has serious skin in the game.
