Should bounce now at 61.8% retracement A load of bollocks? Fibonacci retracement sounds like a load of TA bollocks so I looked it up on Wikipedia. This is what I found: The appearance of retracement can be ascribed to ordinary price volatility as described by Burton Malkiel, a Princeton economist in his book A Random Walk Down Wall Street, who found no reliable predictions in technical analysis methods taken as a whole. Malkiel argues that asset prices typically exhibit signs of random walk and that one cannot consistently outperform market averages. I am not a Princeton economist but one thing I know is that share price moves are influenced by events and rumours of events which lines on a chart cannot predict at all. The theory seems to be akin to the old saying “what goes up must come down” which most of us know is not a reliable way of predicting individual share price moves with any hope of accuracy. I suppose it is a modern day investor’s form of alchemy? Frog in a tree

About to Blow? Well we seem to be gaining some traction this morning following that huge trade at 9.10. If that’s a persistent seller taken out the stock should now rise well on any significant news imho.

KIE Thunderjack 17 Feb 2020

Kier up 8% so far today and has broken through the six-month high of 148p. Looks like the market is re-rating Kier ahead of its results in a a little over a fortnight from now. HS" greenlight, record houseprices (great for Kier Living) and hundreds of contract wins make Kier a bargain. P/e is still less that 2. Ridiculously low. A 5-bagger from here by the end of the year.
