Sirius I find it amazing that a bid came in from anyone. Will AA follow the SXX business plan or do they have one of their own. I would expect a slow measured approach to development

LLOYDS is going to FLY PrefInvestor1: Hi @J_Westlock, I’d be interested in giving the AJBell comparison tool a try, as you say the HL one cant do more than 5 years. Any chance you could post a link to it please ?. I have tried looking on their web site and I cant see it as first glance. If you have to have an account with them to use it then just say as I am unlikely to go that far to use it !. You don’t need an account @PrefInvestor1 AJ Bell Youinvest AJ Bell Youinvest AJ Bell Youinvest is a low cost, award-winning platform for the DIY investor. at top right of screen, use the search ‘magnifying glass’ and enter code of first stock/fund select ‘Performance’ from left side vertical bar… and you get their total return chart ensure in chart setting/plot type is set to ‘Growth’ (not ‘Price’) select ‘Compare’ and enter code of stock/fund you want to compare first to (…and repeat for several codes as you wish) It’s pretty similar to HL’s but you don’t need the ‘Select Fund first’ trick and offers longer periods… but I find some of the colours it selects difficult to distinguish at times.

Sirius The Sirius story gets more intriguing. Just announced that Crispin Odeys wife has been appointed head of Jupitor Assets and now controlled their 7.8% investment in the company. That means the power couple could vote with a 9.1% stake, whilst Odey Asset still says they might buy more shares before the vote deadline. Interesting times for the next 10 days . IB

LLOYDS is going to FLY image.png706x128 5.8 KB Hi @trader_jack, Hope you are well. If STS has been going since 2005 (~15 years) then its hardly a newbie !. As for there being days when it isnt traded, I dont know where you are getting your trade information from but if you look on the LSE Interactive Chart page for STS as per this link:- [link] And set the time period to 3 months and select the “Volume” radio here Then you will get a 3 month chart with bars at the bottom giving trading volumes for each day as shown below:- If you run your mouse pointer over these bars it will tell you the exact number of shares traded each day. As you can see I couldnt see ANY days in the last 3 months when no shares were traded. Lowest volume was on Dec 31st but perhaps not surprising at that time ?. As for whether its a good time to be buying ANYTHING right now thats a different question !. Enjoy the rest of your weekend ! ATB Pref

Brexit Wars 3 fynne - good morning fynne: Certainly spend a lot of time looking at the pictures That’s no doubt because reading is way above his brain grade m8

HSBA fynne 23 Feb 2020

Brexit Wars 3 petethenovice: No I only copy the headlines no need to read the garbage inside anyone with half a brain can see its incitement and lies. It is blatant incitement and lies btw … not sure there is anything to actually read inside though? All privately owned media paint there own chosen image whether that is the Express or Guardian. Some people choose to believe one partly because it fits their own established ideas.

88 Energy - Ultra High Impact Drilling Q1 2020 Just to confirm the rig move schedule on the highway, will be complete today. On Saturday, Feb. 22, at 4 a.m., Accumulate Energy Alaska, Inc., in partnership with Cruz Construction and Nordic, will begin moving a large drill rig on the Dalton Highway from Deadhorse to mile 386. The move is anticipated to last through Sunday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. Traffic will not be able to pass the drill rig during the move. The rig is large enough that it requires both lanes of the highway to travel and it will be traveling at low speeds. Drivers should anticipate lengthy delays. Road closures will be established during the move to control traffic. Over the two day move, the drill rig will pull into pullouts in three locations and waiting traffic will be permitted to travel through. These are the locations and anticipated times: Depart Deadhorse at 4 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 412.7, road open from 7 a.m. – 100 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 404.9, road open from 5 – 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Pullout at mile 400.9, road open from 9:30 – 11 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22 Open road at mile 386.7, 9 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 23 Moving the drill rig from the pullout at mile 400.9 to mile 386 will require a road closure lasting approximately 10 hours. This is the longest continuous closure. Mats will be utilized on the highway to protect infrastructure and emergency access is being coordinated with first responders. The drill rig will return to Deadhorse in mid-April, the return trip will also impact traffic. As soon as dates of the return trip are finalized they will be announced. The move schedule may be impacted by weather. For more information, please contact Tony Lamping, Cruz Construction at [email protected] or call 907-841-8006.

Contractors Costs/Capex Recovery & CB Tax Payments MikeyAdmin: To rely on the calculations please check copy & correct then paste corrected post I shan’t be bothered, because its already done: ValueSeeker8: September Cost recovery = $360,000 X 45.6543 = $16,435,548 September Profit oil = $162,000 X 45.6543 = $7,395,996.6 September Contractor pay = $23,831,544.6 GKP payment = 0.8 X $23,831,544.6 = $19,065,235.68 May I remind you that it costs money to extract oil and process it to export standards. Currently it’s circa $4 per barrel. This means that GKP and MOL had to spend circa $4,440,000 in order to produce 1,110,000. Since GKP WI = 80%, then the cost to GKP is $3,552,000. And given that GKP’s net payment is $15.8 m, out of which is a $13,148,438.4 payment via the cost recovery route (capex recovery). This means that GKP received $2,651,561.6 via the profit oil rout! This is not enough to cover the extraction cost (opex recovery)!! Meaning that, operationally, GKP made a loss of $900,438.4 during September 2019!!! I shall leave at that. Best Regards @ValueSeeker8
