LLOYDS is going to FLY @PrefInvestor1, I should have said Microsoft track what you do (rather than copy) else why do they keep telling me I have a problem with the open-source software I use and can they ‘investigate’ - no thanks cos I don’t have any issues. However, I’m using a very old version of Office so should upgrade - hate being ‘forced’ to for security reasons functionality is more than sufficient for me I only use excel. I don’t mind paying but people say they have issues using Office 365 - have you?

LLOYDS is going to FLY Hi Again @trader_jack, Its only just occurred to me but you probably have never bought anything from Amazon have you ? - so you wont have an account. You will need to create one if you are going to order from them. I did the search on Amazon.co.uk and you can get “Office 2016 Home & Student” for £72 (instead of £119.99) with free delivery image.png1625x794 278 KB Notice it says “Fulfilled by Amazon” that means that Amazon hold the stock and will deliver it. So you will definitely get it if you order from here. You will need an account to do the purchase though…over to you I’m afraid. You might be able to buy it from John Lewis, they sell Microsoft software. Just make sure you tell them its “Office 2016 Hoime and Student” that you want or they might sell you the wrong version. You can probably do this by phone, more your style probably. Its going to cost you the full price of £119.99 that way though. Buying from Amazon as you can see is much cheaper !. ATB Pref

LLOYDS is going to FLY trader_jack: You mention Office Home & Student 2016 , according to the Microsoft page you indicated yesterday mainstream support ends in October this year but extended support goes on until 2025 whatver that might mean in practice for someone like myself. Go here [link] and look at the table and the text which follows it. The important thing for you is that extended support goes on until 2025 so you will receive security updates until then.
