Brexit Wars 3 Indeed, but Johnson won’t be able to hold off another referendum indefinitely if Scottish support grows strongly. There might also be a temptation in that an independent Scotland might guarantee Tory hegemony in England permanently. Frog in a tree

Brexit Wars 3 frog_in_a_tree: Let me remind you. In the EU referendum the Scots voted 62% in favour of Remain. This was the most definitive vote for either option out of all the constituent countries of the UK. Couldn’t agree more, FIAT. SNP fanatics could easily have whipped up votes to Leave to support their own longer term ambitions for seeking independence. Instead they voted with an integrity and honesty that we could do with seeing a lot more of South of the border. A great example of one of the reasons why our Union would be worse off without them.
Brexit Wars 3 HuwJarse: You make me laugh. No you’re right, everything is fine. Absolutely nothing to worry about at all. Is PMI ‘expected to come in at 30’ or at zero? Or were you just indulging in hysterical exaggeration? You better brace yourself because you’re going to be seeing similar numbers coming out of other economies around the world over the next few months. Then where will your GDP projections be? This may be as low as it goes in China.
