No conceivable reason at all why JLP should be falling back with the groundwork done over the last 12 months. This stock should be on a steady climb. The poor news flow and constant dilution does nothing to instill confidence in new or institutional investors to come on board.
Investors Chronicle says "Shares in Greencore Group (GNC) fell by 8 per cent yesterday after its largest US competitor Tyson Foods bought fellow packaged food maker AdvancePierre for $3.2bn (£2.5bn). Shareholders could be nervous that Greencore’s American business Peacock Foods could lose contracts as Tyson takes some of its outsourcing back in house. Our buy tip is under review."
Looking at this part of the Annual Statement, it would look like the best chance of a Farmout of Barryroe is if Druid is a massive success: The collapse in M&A activity, combined with the Company’s balance sheet constraints in the first half of 2016 made progress in completing a Barryroe farm in very challenging. However, following the recapitalisation of Providence in July 2016 and with some recovery in the oil price, farm in activity has increased. This has facilitated the Company in pursuing new commercial opportunities which are ongoing. It is an important objective of Providence to advance the appraisal and development of this important asset. With this in mind, the Company is commencing various pre-permitting activities in anticipation of future drilling.
Hi Breezy, they say you should never look back at past investments but I did yesterday. In Jan 2011 I bought 24,000 Taylor Wimpey Shares at 34p (£8160) If I had done absolutely diddly squat and just left them untouched I would have over £48,000 in capital today and would have had 13 dividend payments totalling well over £7k. Can't tell you how sick that makes me feel today scrapping about trying to re-coup my CPP and BHR losses. I'm not prepared to go chasing rainbows elsewhere as that got me into trouble in the first place. I'm going to buy another grands worth of AFC if they fall to 10p. Other than that I'm just watching from the sidelines now. Good to hear from you, keep in touch and all the best.
