Hi Jaja, I think you're right. Leon won't have that sort of cash to splash around like Colin. Leon should have more shares than he has though, particularly as he has sacrificed salary. I wonder if Leons shares are attributed to JBL on the South African stock market as opposed to JLP on the UK AIM market? I hadn't considered that before.
as far as i know, Leon is not as rich as Colin and this is Leon main job and he didnt even get salary (they got in shares). so i doubt Leon will buy as he got no money himself
£48k's worth too. That's a big buy from Colin. You don't spend that sort of money if the future doesn't look rosy and he should know the inside picture better than anyone. Leon should follow suit now and put his hand in his pocket, though I suspect he will have options in lieu of salary. I keep saying it, but it would be nice to see a big institutional investor start building a holding here, that would really male the markets sit up and take notice. Come on JLP put out some solid financials now to demonstrate real progress and not just tonnage throughput, that doesn't mean anything - profit is what we need to see.
Affect is a verb meaning to influence something and effect is the something that was influenced. For example, I bought huge amounts of a share in order to effect the share price, and unsurprisingly, it did affect the share price. Pedantry is my middle name. Well, not literally
see LSE....JLP is not affected by mining charter. JLP should RNS this
The only problem is once oil goes above $50 the US producers will come back in so what price for TLW corresponds to $50? That is the value at which the TLW sp is likely to settle in the near term and possibly beyond
TLW is obviously totally correlated to the price of oil based on recent evidence but don't despair - "Goldman, like most analysts, sees a dip in output from U.S. shale producers as the key to higher oil prices. A ramp up in shale oil output over the past year has reduced U.S. imports and offset production cuts by OPEC producers and Russia to leave oil prices wallowing near their lowest point since November. The dip in oil prices has been accompanied by falls in oil stocks that has created opportunities to buy in some of Europe's strongest names, claims Goldman."We ... see the sell off as an attractive buying opportunity in our favored stocks, including Total and Lundin, whilst we have also started to see investor interest in higher beta stocks that have sold off such as Tullow," wrote the bank."
RNS out Colin Bird as bought some shares in JLP. Come on Leon its your turn now.
I can confirm QFI are currently in talks with marine operators regarding using Msar2.
