Hi GimmieJimmie, my take on this is that just maybe the Company is turning around in a positive manner. We can only hope for light at the end of the tunnel and hope it is not a train.Redrover

Does anyone know why Woodford sold the entire holding in listed VC firm Draper Esprit (Ticker: GROW)? This company would seem to align very well with Woodfords previously stated aims and values, and gives instant exposure to a large stable of promising early stage tech. companies which is managed by folks with a very good track record in VC?

here we go - I would exercise caution using Simply Wall St. only as your ref. I think their tools are good but only as reliable as the data and I'm not sure it is always completely up to date for UK based companies. Also, in my experience, it doesn't always factor in news stories or event-driven price re-ratings. That said, it's discounted cashflow analysis may provide a reasonable estimate but if so, the conclusion that ISAT may be around 20% undervalued would suggest hanging in for coming uplift, would it not?

*Value of oil*...Dear brummell, I find your postings on this board usually very knowledgeable and helpful with respect to the various factors affecting TLW and the oil market in general. Thanks for the link about the coming sulfur restriction also. I am wondering though about this whole business of the sulfur content, the grades of oil and what producers will stand to benefit or otherwise. According to Wikipedia (granted, it is not infallible) …“Shale oil serves best for producing middle-distillates such as kerosene, jet fuel, and diesel fuel. Worldwide demand for these middle distillates, particularly for diesel fuels, increased rapidly in the 1990s and 2000s. However, appropriate refining processes equivalent to hydrocracking can transform shale oil into a lighter-range hydrocarbon (gasoline).”… This seems to contradict what you are saying about the US production(?) Is there a contradiction here or am I misinformed and or misunderstanding? Great to hear any opinions on this…

Idg69 LC and CB really need to start to walk all their years of "jam" talk. Sometimes I question whether shareholder interests or upper management renumeration, are the priority here.

Wiseguy - I fully understand your frustration having been here 3 years and started buying at 1.5p right up to 5p. Most people are underwater on this one and fed up - including myself. This company has moved on so much operationally in 3 years but hasn't turned to profit yet which is reflected in the share price. I'm prepared to hold at least another 2 years and take a view then. Wishing you well. idg69
