Re: Observation on strategy Yes Hilda, but no 'News' announcement on the website...strange.TP
Re: Observation on strategy They showed it off at the mello-derby investors event and more recently at a hotel trade conference thing. And they seem to be having a lot of booze ups on company time, lot of cup cakes getting scoffed. Will the cash hold out?
Re: Observation on strategy Yep, it's quite impressive. What's not impressive is the lack of news on the 'launch' of the V2. Which I believe was due in November ! !Come on BoD, I know there's lots of stuff on the website but the launch doesn't appear to be there !Regards, TP
Observation on strategy An unusual feature of the website - never seen it before - is that some of the corporate news is mixed up with information for customers, not on a separate investors section. I quite like this, it makes the story of the company a feature. To stay in a room is to take part in a UK engineering business..
Re: The V2 model You've certainly got that right Casa. I've posted quite a few examples I've found where there have been long term deployments of V1s. Making them into semi-permanent sites makes a lot of sense. My concern is that they won't have enough V2s to cope with the demand next season. It would be helpful if the company could give us some idea of the rate of new builds.Regards, TP
Re: The V2 model I understood that the new V2 units were intended for events as they are easy to transport and assemble and certainly easier than the converted containers, V1. Of course, there is nothing wrong with using them as almost permanent dwellings which seems to be the current application of the V1's. The sp needs to rise and stay at or above 10p in order to encourage investors to take up their warrants which are priced at 10p. Which street are you living on now?Casa.
Re: The V2 model take a look at zzz's twitter feed - their marketing/design effort is terrific. the clever thing is the new units are being sold as an experience in themselves, not a simple machine-for-sleeping-in (at least as far as i can see). if the finance is under control this could go far.
The V2 model ZZZ was exhibiting at a recent Mello investor event in Derby and the V2 unit looked very impressive. It looked easy to transport and assemble on site. The room is compact but quite luxurious considering that it is likely to be situated in a field. There is a good bed, good lighting a TV WiFi, toilet and shower facility and total privacy. Much better than a tent!I don't hold any shares in ZZZ but it is certainly on my watch list.Casa.
Re: RNS..80 bed hotel..1 yr Thanks Geri. Thought I was solo on this board ;-}Regards, TP
RNS..80 bed hotel..1 yr Premier Oil have hired an 80 bed unit for a year. From existing stock. Further deployment of Mk1 units on a long term project. Excellent news!TP
