Re: Hoegh has been selling again Hoegh is now down to 3.72%, so we know who is selling at almost any price at present (which could be forced)... a big advantage for those buying. They may be selling out entirely given the lack of an RNS, just frequent updates to the ZOX web site Major Investor holdings..
22,326 reasons to be hopeful 5 years ago I bought less than this amount of shares at a cost of nearly £10,000, that was at about 70p per share before bailing with a big loss at 16p, today I bought these for less than £360, I don't expect a great recovery but once Korea own 90% of the company as they inevitably will, I do then expect they will offer for the remaining 10%, at what price...who knows but for a small punt its worth sitting in and seeing.
Hoegh has been selling again 10% stake in 2014 accounts, down to 5.99% on website now 4.77%
Re: SLOANE ROBINSON If they have, the trades haven't been reported yet. There has been no RNS indicating any major shareholder stock holding either... so far.Who knows what the next few days/weeks will bring us here ???
SLOANE ROBINSON Have they reduced there 16% ?
Re: Andrew Woollett In the past AW has done a good job promoting Zincox through interviews and presentation with none other than Proactive Investors. All Pr. In. does is to tempt mugs to attend company presentations at their Mayfair hotel with canapes and a couple of glasses of wine for a nice fat fee ofcourse. The qualities of companies who want to be associated with PI has always been questionable, ones that are likely to lose you your shirt.
Re: Andrew Woollett I know I sound like a stuck record on this subject but the board need a kicking from shareholders on this issue for not sorting it out earlier, at current mkt cap of £2.5m it is ridiculous to continue paying 2 individuals over $400k each per annum, this has to be addressed NOW if they haven't done so already and the more of us who scream about it the better. AW should do the decent thing and volunteer a cut to £75k per year. No large investor should countenance investing in a company with such greedy directors.
Re: Andrew Woollett I think they have done a terrible job getting the plant running. All the problems they had with the heat exchanger and brickett maker which just seemed to run and run. Over the past few years they have done placings around November so I'm not too surprised .Put this one down to experience.... Aim company with a new technology in the commodities sector= disaster!
Re: Andrew Woollett I think this will all depend on the price of Zinc and whether Korea Zinc really want the plant. The current market value of ZOX reflects their financial position today only. This could rapidly change up or down to close to zero; indeed if Korea Zinc took 90% of the plant to clear the loan it could actually make ZOX a better proposition.Nothing more I can do now except hope that Andrew and his team are busy and will be successful in their negotiations.
Re: Andrew Woollett Still a little hope but I doubt Korea zinc will be looking to help Zox at this point. Not when they are on their knees and the plant can be taken. Who is going to give current board anymore money? Investment from only a few months ago they have turned 13p into 1.4p. Almost 90% gone. Andrew Woollett talking about new plant when the current ones was loss making was ringing alarm bells. I am convinced nobody else will give them money.
Re: Andrew Woollett Quite right popes11... but 97% of the ZOX shares are still not being traded right now, so there must be some faith in Andrew - and this is his last chance to fix things else the company will be in dire straights with little hope of funding the planned second plant despite the improved margins expectedIt wasn't really down to ZOX that the price of Zinc has collapsed so far in just a few weeks; but is there believe that this will recover significantly in a similar timescale? It is still possible the SP will recover a bit after the major drops in the last 24 hours, although someone just sold 539,275 shares at just 1.375p which I suspect someone else is accumulating or MMs are now holding for sale.It may take a few weeks for this all to re-settle.
Re: Andrew Woollett those investing at the last placing (13p) will surely be asking questions. Korea Zinc will get the plant and make it work.
Re: Andrew Woollett I meant vast salary but waste salary is just as good!
Re: Andrew Woollett With 166.31 m shares in issue current market cap is £2.16m or $3.24m. Capital required being $6.5m so the writing may be on the wall and AW maybe looking for a new job soon as Korean Zinc take over 90% of ZOX OR an investor takes a punt on great terms (cutting AW's waste salary while he/she is about it) and the zinc price rebounds strongly over the next 12 months....it is like being in a casino with the dice loaded against one
Re: Andrew Woollett He pays himself £400,000 something so even if he follows up spending £100,000+ buying placement share, who's fooling who. Another year of £400k for himself and his mob and then we are kaput
