Re: Recent moves Still moving quite strongly[link]

AGM -25th Sept ZOO AGM 25th September 2107To summarise. There is less seasonality in the workload. This is due to the home entertainment revolution globally. In the new world there are 100+ platforms; 50+ languages; the demand is for release in a short space of time so they want subtitles in weeks and days as opposed to months. Terms with digital channels vary greatly. They are in a $2B market growing at 8-10% pa and of that dubbing is 70%. The studios want someone who can do both the functions –subtitles and dubbing. Dubbing is done in a “traditional” way-studio in each country-localised and open to piracy. Using Zoodubs the material is tracked so if there is any piracy the source can be identified. The demonstration was excellent-difficult to explain in words!. It is a collaborative process and their first project which is still in train has been an excellent learning process. having all the staff in one location they have been getting feedback on a daily basis and adjusting the software accordingly. Significantly the client has signed off the early parts of the process. The project was apparently larger than they would have liked for their first but they seem to have coped and ready for the next one! They seem to be optimistic that more work will flow on from this. The voice actors have found the process easier to carry out using the software. They do not even have to be in a studio-they can do it from any location.Another project was to take all the back catalogue which is in all sorts of different formats and systems and their role is to standardise it-again another challenge successfully completedMy personal perceptions. They seem relaxed and confident. The CEO gave a good overview and then delegated the presentations to his managers. The company has moved from a licence concept to a service concept using the software expertise to provide the service. The Chairman is ex IBM for 20 years and clearly has expertise in the area. One of the business managers applied to the company from a competitor as he felt that ZOO had better prospects. I like that The IT lead has been with ZOO a long time and was very confident in his presentation and showed his ability to listen to those using the service. He has spent considerable time in the US and so knows that environment very well. He has worked with the guy based out there for a long time and clearly they have existing relationships with all the major players. When they demonstrated ZOOdubs at some event 6 months ago people were for the most part very positive on their concept. From my perspective I think this could really add a whole new dimension to the business. They do not have new relationships to develop and they do not have to break resistance to change barriers. I did not t have the opportunity to speak to the FD but the Herald Investment Trust manager was present and he seemed very relaxed with their 20% holding in the business –and Hargreave Hale-now Canaccord hold just over 20%. I hold

Re: Recent moves Here's the 26th August chart I posted on AFE over the weekend. Looks to be a classic breakout. No idea why. Let's see if it can maintain it.[link]

Re: Recent moves AGM on the 25th September and the recent stats which shows that the subtitles achieved in the FY 201-2107 was achieved in H1 2017 plus the RNS in September which said that it took 3.5 yrs to do 100m subtitles and 6 months to do the next 100m. Plus the imminent release of ZOO dubs and then maybe ZOO screen which is on trials-June announcement so might be near release as well.

Recent moves I have been invested here for several years and we are hitting increased share price levels almost daily.Could this company be swallowed up by a much larger organisation? I cannot think of any other reason for such a consistent rise. I note that trading has greatly improved but would have though that does not solely account for this rise.Any thoughts or information?

results I thought these were good results yesterday. What initially attracted me to this company was that they said their Zooscreen product could stop DVD piracy. DVDs are sent out for private viewings; world wide distributors; new territories for exposure and the Oscar academy members who vote on the movies etc. It only takes one for all that to be pirated and it happens++. It also applies to their dubbing process which is now done in 50 languages. This is due for formal release in the next 6 months and is being fully tested at the moment. The move from DVDs to digital is moving rapidly and ZOO is part of that process. One Hollywood studio used to be 90% of their work but it is down to 44% and that is on larger expenditure from that company. The others are using them more...let's hope it continues. Paul Scott was positive on it in his assessment yesterday except for the outstanding loan note of £2.5m @7.5%. which is due for renewal in 2020. Maybe if they continue to be profitable these friendly lenders might allow this debt to be paid off. They include the CEO and Herald Investment Trust who holds 19.4% of the company and I respect Katie Potts and her judgement

New trading update Looking good.TP

The Earl of Acol 07 Apr 2017

stake building I wondered who bought all those shares sold. Now we know .This is now a significant rise and the share has broken out of recent price ranges. At last I am in profit but more importantly could a takeover offer be about to appear? I hope this rise is not just the usual AIM bubble arising from speculation. From memory the shares hit 60p in the distant past and management hold a large portion (almost 20%) of the Company so any offer should be at a substantial premium to todays price. In addition it seems the business has turned around and could soon be quite profitable on the back of new products and markets.

Trading update The projected EBITDA of US$1.8 million(£1.43 million) as a MINIMUM for the ZOO financial year ending March 31st 2017 seems incredible when set against the current £3million Market cap.Something has to give.Imo we are looking here at a serious investment opportunity with the shares at just 10 pence to buy.For BOD and employee options to be triggered the SP will need to rise to 40 pence. This would seem very achievable if ZOO continues to progress at its current rate.Very interesting, imo.
