Re: Profit taking? I sold 2/3 of my XAR shares on 19 Dec @ 352.26p, 4 days after buying, for a profit, after dealing charges, of 34.6%. Not often I've done that well. Since then SP has slipped back decided I would like to get out so have a limit order in to sell the rest at 328p. Nice rise today despite market being down, so my order may be met. At 328 my profit would be 25.1% after costs on my remaining shares.If limit order not met today I think I will put on a higher one at 338p as buying interest seems quite strong. IMO XAR has potential to go up 25% or more this year as making money and has cut costs but more fully valued since I bought on 15 Dec 2014 at just under 260. My current holding too small to keep unless SP doubles in the next year.

Profit taking? I bought late on Monday afternoon at 260 and was very pleased with rise following the trading statement that beat market expectations. One of the reasons I bought was because of RNS showing that M&G investment Funds had increased its holding from <5% to 6.25%.Now kicking self for not selling yesterday when SP was about 15% up on day. Rather surprised at sharp fall today, perhaps profit taking or reassessment of companies value by analysts. Comments anyone?I last bought XAR in 2005 when I made a 36% profit when I sold out in Aug 05.
