price of copper Weatherly have suddenly come back on the radar as copper price nears 5k . This so called basket case is no longer so condemned because we have aCEO who knows what he is doing and a mine who has produced in the lowest quartile on costs...fact. Despite a massive loan overhang with Orion (who appear understanding) the momentum here seems compelling since we operate an open pit with costs of production in a downward curve ie oil price and exchange rates , while copper is raising its head again. This company is priced to fall.. I think not hence my recent purchases.BR.

RNS Extremely positive Half Year report, and well done to all concerned but did we really need to have it pointed out that the continued support of Orion Finance is not a certainty. Talk about taking the edge off things.

Tschudi production achievement Very difficult to be optimistic in today's sickening commodities situation but after all the difficulties WTI have encountered I think that they are to be congratulated on the success that they are making of Tschudi now.Like others who have been involved for a number of years I am currently losing a small fortune through remaining with them through thick and thin. I fully recognise that my chances of ever getting square are non-existent but at least the company are giving some cause for hope if the world could ever sort itself out.Nearer home I think it would be helpful if Orchard Gate could do the same or just push off completely !

Re: fraud eh! Not sure the alleged fraud has anything to do with how this share trades. It trades as it does because it's an almost bust micro cap commodities dog.

fraud eh! can't say I'm surprised...there's been something iffy about the way this share has been traded for years, especially close to RNS releases.

Re: Excellent News Today It's still down 85% this year and 80% lower than the price at which it issued new shares earlier in the year. If people see this as "good news" they must have very rose tinted glasses.

Re: Excellent News Today It is good news and extends another life line to WTI. The market is positive and no doubt some short-termers will make a good return on the news. Sadly for us long-term investors, this has a massive way to go and is all reliant upon the copper price. Inns

Excellent News Today There is life in this old dog still. Some expensive new money but a stay on loan repayments. A chance to ramp up production, reduce costs and hopefully…hopefully copper prices might rebound next year. Should see a strong bounce today.
