Re: Added today @10.1p Strong bounce today. News imminent? Good purchase Eadwig. The patient will inherit and all that. Good luck all.
Re: Added today @10.1p Onewayticker,I appreciate the warning, but in all the time I've held them news was expected on the M.E. airport contract. However, while walking back from kindergarten it did occur to me today that I never mentioned the risk/potential for a placement in order to finance any up-front costs for a new contract.Depending on the size, there would be no need for an EGM. Even in the FTSE 100 a company can raise 10% without reference to shareholders - a figure bound to be bigger for an AIM company. It isn't much of a risk though if it means the 15 year contract has been won, is it? Even at a 50% discount and no ability to take part as a P.I. you would still easily cover your money if you bought today. In my opinion.Eadwig
Re: Added today @10.1p Eadwig just be careful here. In business anything can and often does happen and I might get caught out not holding. I had thought ME news would have come by now and I think so does the market. There is substantial funding requirement and its in their RNS's. The last ones have been by either a placing or by using Darwin - and in either case new shares have had to be issued.Yesterday and today it drifted under nominal value - and that means that they cannot issue any new shares without changing the nominal value (downwards). This I believe requires an EGM and approval. If its adjusted down and then there is a raise then bear in mind the additional dilution that will also come.A stated news blackout is not helping matters and its drifting on no news and with the impending inevitability of a raising and EGM.Own due diligence.
Added today @10.1p £750,000 placement to help get the airport contract over the line. Do we need to know any more than that?I hold in two accounts. One averages @10.8xp the other @10.23pI'll be very surprised if I don't get the chance to take substantial profits in both accounts even with no airport announcement - I always have previously in the last 18-24 months since I've been involved. That doesn't mean it goes on forever, of course, and the big risk is an announcement saying the big contract is dead.Meanwhile lots of room for improvement in just about every other area of the business, so even if there was a failure after all the time and expense chasing that contract, at least management would be back concentrating on the basic existing business which should have no problems growing in the current UK and global security environment.
Re: Investors are getting restless its not only just off the boil its back in the deep freeze!
Investors are getting restless Patience is wearing thin IMHOMaybe they were hoping to get some news at the Dubai airshow....can't think why. But when the brokers are offering 9.75p to buy your shares then clearly they have too many.We are at recent historic lows. It suspect it wouldn't take much volume with apush down to trigger a whole heap of stop losses.
news lands...24p buy
Re: RNS lodged? There was an RNS yesterday - it was nothing more than the standard report of how many shares the company has in issue that all companies issue every month or quarter. I double-checked on LSE because ii were having technical problems early yesterday, but that was it, nothing else.I bought some more yesterday @10.25p but before I had time to post it up I sold them for @11.2p. I may regret that decision judging on the price action yesterday (rightly described as being on a hair trigger) which may or may not portend some news. As we know, this stock can easily rise 50% or more from around @11p or @12p on little more than fairly insubstantial rumours or media articles reaffirming the airport contract potential. The fact I can't get away from is that the last placement for just £750k suggests that the company believes it is very close to getting over the line for the airport contract. In fact they as much as said that the funding was to be used for that purpose. It may be that they need to raise more to 'seed' the contract once it is landed and before revenues begin to accrue, it should be borne in mind. That's me being honest in my beliefs, not 'ramping'. I'd dearly like to add some more at something close to the placement price of @10p because SO FAR my investments here have always come good in the end on WSG, with substantial profits made in percentage terms (I've learnt to never commit too much to microcap companies at any one time; even a long run of good trades can be wiped out overnight on a single piece of bad news if one becomes complacent or too greedy).I currently have a holding in my SIPP as well as my trading account, both averaging somewhere around @11p.A Strong Buy for me at around the current price (@10.62p). Very likely to be able to trade in and out for profits, I feel, but I now always hold back some few thousand because if and when the airport contract does come through, we're very likely to see the share price transformed and the company move into a whole new league. I wouldn't want to be caught holding none at all after waiting so long for the big event.
Re: RNS lodged? No RNS on the 7am news feed.Im not familiar enough with the dalliances of the share price. But it could be, that just like the wildcat tinpot oilies, this is a bit of a binary bet, and so the price action might be prone to being on a bit of a hair trigger.
RNS lodged? Volume, 15% up after initially being taken down. I guess RNS in the morning.let't hope it's a good one and deal confirmation, or at the very least, deal imminently imminent ...
Re: leaky leaky Think you be very wise not to take any notice of this guy. He seems pop up everywhere with his one liners.
