Re: been there More press today in This is Plymouth re Wolf and production.

Ocean Fox 07 Sep 2015

Re: been there I remember a comment from someone a year or so ago that the Wolf set up would be unlikely to benefit the shareholders very much. Anyone anything further on this?

TRINDERM 07 Sep 2015

Re: been there I was there a couple of days ago. Lots of press, local on Wolf. Google "this is plymouth" and you'll find it amongst local headlines. As to the why isn't this flying, IMO it is because it is unclear as to who will get how much of the rev/profits. When that becomes more clear then it will adjust accordingly. I have spoken to a couple of stakeholders over this matter and they are certainly "muddying" over who gets what. I am sure it will become more clear and the local articles certainly suggest things are happening quickly.

Re: Tungsten Price Cost of production = 108$ mtuCost of finance = 62$ mtuTotal cost = 170$mtuSay best price for APT = 200$ mtuPotential profit = 30$mtuPossible annual production say 4500 tonnes paThis could be possible if they can work 24/7.1 mtu = 10 kgs so production = 450000 mtuso 450000 x 30$ =13,500,000$current exchange rate = 64p/ $So 13,500,000 x .64 = £8,640,000Which implies 1p per shareSo basic p/e of 10 gives a share price of 10pAll as I understand it. Not an expert and fully expect to be corrected by more knowledgeable folk.Anyone else care to comment please.

Tungsten Price Hi All, I'm not an investor yet, but looking into investing... does anyone know what the break even price tungsten needs to fall to before it starts costing more to take it out of the ground and process it than what they sell it for?I'm just watching nearly all commodity prices taking a tumble at the moment so a little worried we may already be there? Thanks,Ben

Re: Price fall Mining stocks generally are down but still think medium/long term this is a good bet

Ocean Fox 21 Aug 2015

Price fall Very simple - just look at the tungsten price graph!

Re: Not Logical Not for me, I am waiting for an sp below 13p, as I sold out at only 26p!! GLA, half joking, but not wrt to seeling all at 26p. No idea as to whether that came up as a buy or a sell, but my brokers' traders enjoy getting the best of prices for me. Must be the bottles of old claret & vintage port!

Re: Not Logical Just put in a small buy and it shows as a sell on iii. How many others is this happening to?

DevonianDracula 19 Aug 2015

Re: Not Logical "How can this happen large buys today .Buys outweight sells and still price drops what is happening hereConfused "Every trade is shown buy the LSE systems as being a buy, sell or ?. This is based solely on whether the trade price was below, above or on the midpoint of the bid and offer prices. Of course, the reality is that every trade is both a buy and a sell, and need not involve a market maker (mm) on one side of the transaction. In my view, in the absence of all other potentially price changing factors (news, views or whatever), it is only if there is a significant imbalance between volumes for sale and volumes to buy that you should expect to see the sp moving much based the reported volumes of "buy" & "sell" transactions.Imagine that I had a line of WLFE that I was prepared to sell above a certain price, say 14.6p. If people were keen to buy above that price, I could hold out for a price well above the midpoint (current spread of 14p/15p), and sell only above say 14.8p, dropping the price a bit as the keenest buyers fill their orders. The result could be all or most trades for the day being reported as buys, as the sp slowly drops a bit.

Re: Not Logical The market is not always logical but I personally believe this to be a good medium to long term buy.
